New Beginnings!

Well, who would believe it.....its the last day of 2011! And what a topsy turvy year its been. There have been wonderful highs...such as joining the lovely Sweet Stampin ladies and finding my new flat....and devasting lows....such as losing Dad back in May....I still can't quite believe he's not with us anymore. However, a new year is about to begin and hopefully it'll bring with it lots of happy times!

I'm lucky to have a wonderful family and fab friends (ones I've met and those in blog land!).....not forgetting my amazing boyfriend Joe....each one has played a valuable part in my life in 2011 and I want to thank each one of you for your love and support.

So, what better way to start the new year than with a "New Beginnings" Challenge! We have the wonderful Angel Crafts sponsoring us this week at Sweet Stampin and we want to see your cards that feature a new beginning.....

2011 brought me a new home...and so I thought it was fitting to make a new home card for this challenge. I've used a cute froggie stamp as well as my large letter stamps (that I've had for ages but never used!!).

Don't forget to pop by all the DT blogs to see some more fab cards!

I want to wish you a very Happy New Year.....you never know what it'll bring, but no doubt we're all up for the challenge!!

Colour Combo Challenge!

Morning Folks!

Can you tell I'm off work at the moment....here I am with another card!! This mornings card is for the Allsorts Challenge thats been running over Christmas...its a colour combo challenge....our cards must be blue and brown. I love this colour combo, it always looks sooooo pretty!

I decided I wanted to make a pretty card to match the colour combo....so I got my little teacup stamps out. There is a little bit of sparkle in there, and some punched paper.

Pop by the Allsorts Blog for some more wonderful inspiration!

Don't forget to pop back tomorrow to see the new challenge from Sweet Stampin!

Thanks for popping by day,

PS - Forgot to say that the Cola Cupakes that I made yesterday were very tasty! I think I might use more cola syrup next time because the flavour was quite faint, but the sponge was amazingly soft......yummy!!

Anything Goes!

Hello Campers! How are you today?

Well, I can't believe nearly a whole week has passed already.....I hope you had a lovely Christmas and you're now looking forward to the new year! My Christmas was good....lots of entertaining! My homemade pressies went down very well (thank goodness!!). Joe bought me a rather unusual pressie.....here I am wearing it! What do you think??

Today has been blissful.....I found a new shop that has opened in Aldershot called The Range (the place with the awful Christmas ad on the telly!!). Anyway, they have a HUGE craft department!! I was in heaven! As a result of my shopping trip I have spent an afternoon making cards and painting (yes, I've found another crafty hobby!!).

Here is one of the cards that I've created this afternoon.....

I'm entering this card in the "Anything Goes" challenge that both Secret Crafter Saturday Challenge and Simon Says Stamp has this week! Pop by both blogs to see all the gorgeous DT cards!

Finally....also coming under the "anything goes" heading are the cakes that I've made this evening....cola cupcakes! Yes, you read that right...these are flavoured with that cola syrup that you use in Soda Streams! I haven't tried them yet, but I hope they're tasty!!

I've gone a little bit WI!!

Evening All!!

What on earth has happened to December?? How is it Christmas Eve Eve already?? I think I'm ready now....pressies are made and wrapped, crackers are made, cake is ready and looking cute (even if I do say so myself!!), I've done the food shopping....just got some baking to do tomorrow! One thing I've learnt this month is that I put too much pressure on myself sometimes.....I wanted to make everyone amazing homemade presents this year, but time got away from me and I got really stressed. After talking to Joe and Becca I realised that everyone is going to love what I've made and so what if there are a couple of shop bought pressies too!! I also learnt not to make vinegar based chutneys in a poorly ventilated room......my flat still stinks!!!

I really haven't popped by all my favourite blogs this week...poor show I know!! But when I finally popped by Cupcake Craft Challenge this evening I realised that I'd been awared their Cupcake Cutie badge for my sparkly shoe card last week! I'm soooo proud, thank you lovely Cupcake ladies!!

I've also had some time this evening to make a card and Cupcake Craft Challenge has a fab sketch this week that I wanted to try out. This is a card for Joe's mum....she's getting a jar of my homemade tomato chutney among other homemade goodies, so I thought I'd make her a funny (not so tradtional Christmas card) to go with it!

I'm going to write in the card that if she doesn't like the chutney she can't blame me...it was probably the wine I was drinking at the time! Hee, hee!! I wish I'd looked that calm and serene when I was making the chutney!!

Anyway, don't forget to pop by the Cupcake blog to see all the gorgeous DT cards that have been created. If you fancy a bit of a sparkly challenge you should pop over to Sweet Stampin where we have a "sparkle and bling" challenge!

If I don't see you again before I'd like to wish you a very Merry Christmas....whatever you're up to this year I hope you have a wonderful time!

Don't look at the light!

Evening All!

I hope you're well this evening and have had a good day. I've just got in from an evening with mum and Lorna at a local Christmas market, it was great fun and I bought a couple of gifts....plus sone things for me!

Before bed I wanted to share a quick card with you, this glam little creation is for the "Don't look at the light" challenge this week over at Cupcake Craft Challenge. With the party season just beginning the lovely Cupcake Ladies want to see everything that sparkles and shines on our creations this week!

For my glam Christmas card I have used a gorgeous pink glitter backing paper, topped with a gorgeous silver shoe, accessorised with a blue sparkly gem! I hope this is shiny enough for the cupcake ladies!

I'ved also been busy in the kitchen (no surprise there!!), I've made our Christmas cake this year and I was wondering how to decorate it, when I saw these cute little fellows in a craft book. They are made out of sugar paste and just make me smile....I can't wait to finish off the cake!!

Right, I know its early still, but I'm all shopped out and my bed is calling!

Happy Sunday!

Hello everyone!

I hope you're well and have had a lovely weekend....well its only two weeks until Christmas now....are you ready?? I'm still not!

Yesterday was lovely....we had our biggest ever crafternoon tea in honour of my sister's Birthday....as you can see from the photo it was a bit of a squash to get us all in there!! My cake went down very well....in fact this morning there was only one tier left!! After lots of yummy food we all made Christmas crackers....aren't they gorgeous?? The one on top was made from my quietly crafty mum!!

So, today I've done a little Chritmas shopping, I've marzipanned my cake and I've decorated my flat! To reward all my hard work I decided it was time for some card challenges!! After a quick look around blog land I came across three fab challenges that I wanted to enter:

Secret Crafter Saturday Challenge - All Creatures Great & Small
Allsorts - It Takes Two (only two colours!)
Sir Stampalot - Bingo - Buttons, Flowers, Stickles

It looks like I've used green and red in this photo, but in fact this card is blue and pink!! I've used my stickles on my little flower and on the flowers in the image! Pop by all the blogs mentioned above to see all the gorgeous DT cards that have been created.

Don't forget about our "things with wings" challenge over at Sweet Stampin this week!

Things with Wings!

Happy Saturday Everyone!
Hope you're all well and looking forward to Christmas. I'm not organised at all this year, I seem to be doing so many different things at the moment and have no time for Christmas! For example today is another fabulous Crafternoon Tea at Lorna's flat....and today's tea is really special because we are celebrating Lorna's Birthday! I'm really looking forward to seeing all the girlies, eating lots of sweet treats and making some Christmas crafts! I have made a Birthday cake for nearly all my friends this year......and Lorna decided I needed a real challenge this time and requested a tiered cake!! Its a bit wonky, and the icing isn't that great (hence the ribbon!!), but here is the finished cake.....

Now, I must tell you about this week's challenge over at Sweet Stampin....this week the theme is "things with wings"....so what are you waiting for?? Get crafting!! We're lucky to be sponsored this week by Bugaboo...they've got some fab digis to choose from! One of my favorite characters is Stella.....here she is in all her glory!!

Hee, hee! I just love this sentiment!!

I've used some pretty pink and blue backing paper for this card, and I've made Stella bit glam with some sparkle on her wings!

For more inspiration pop over to the Team Abi blogs to see all their gorgeous DT cards!

Right, I better get going....I've got tea to get to!

Christmas Craft!

Evening Campers!

Hope you are well tonight...I've had a lovely evening....I've watched a cheesy Christmas movie and made a paper Christmas wreath for my front door. I saw the idea for this wreath online and decided to give it a go!

Now I've just got to hope that no one nicks it!!

I've also made a birthday card for a work colleague who loves cooking......and also loves singing loudly as she cooks up a storm in the kitchen....apparently it drives her hubbie mad!

As you all know I love this stamp...and the others in the collection.....and I thought it was just perfect for this card. I hope it makes Val smile!

I'd like to enter this card in the "anything goes" challenge over at Simon Says Stamp this week. Pop over to the blog to see all the gorgeous DT cards.

A little bit Christmassey...

....woo hoo....a week day post! I haven't done one of these in ages! Hope you're keeping well and having a good week so far.

The wedding last weekend was wonderful....it was a very beautiful and elegant affair in London...the bride looked stunning and everyone had a wonderful time....well Joe didn't really like his suit...as you'll see from this photo...but he did smile eventually! In the end I was really pleased with my outfit...even my oversized fascinator looked good!! The ceremony took place in a church which was lit by gorgeous candles, then the reception took place at One Marylebone...there was gorgeous food, lots of champagne and lots of dancing! A good time was had by all!

This evening I've been catching up with some card orders for Christmas...but I also had some time to make a card for myself. I decided to stick with the theme of the evening and make a Christmas card....

I'm quite pleased with this card as I have combined lots of different elements and was a bit worried it'd look a bit silly. I'd like to enter this card in two challenges:

Secret Crafter Saturday Challenge - borders and flowers
Allsorts - pennants or bunting (I opted for bunting!)

Right, its nearly bedtime I think!
Thank you for stopping by today.

Punches & Dies

Hello campers, hope you've had a good week!

Mine's been another hectic one.....with Joe's 30th Birthday and Joe's sister's wedding. This week I've been bowling, played on arcades, went go-karting for the first time, visited the V&A, went on a flight simulator at the Science Museum and spent an evening at The Comedy Store (this was all on Monday & Tuesday!!). The end of the week sees me back in London for the wedding - my outfit is sorted  (I've been inspired by the 1950s) and Joe has his Morning Suit.

Phew, its been hectic!! But I did have some time late one night for some crafting! The challenge this week at Sweet Stampin is Punches & Dies and we are sponsored by the fab Pollycraft - pop over to their store to see all the gorgeous digi images they have - they'll be spoilt for choice!! I was very lucky to be given the cutest little penguin to play with...he went perfectly with my snowflake punch and I got a little carried away and created two cute little Christmas cards!!

Isn't he the cutest??

So, what are you waiting for....we want to see your cute cards which feature either punches or die shapes...or both! Don't forget you also need to use a stamped image...either traditional with ink or a digi!! Need some inspiration?? Visit the Sweet Stampin blog and my fellow DT blogs...there are lots of gorgeous cards!!

Sweet Gingham Birthday Wishes!

Happy Saturday everyone, hope you're having a lovely weekend.

A really late Sweet Stampin Saturday post from me this week, sorry! Its been a busy day trying to find a dress for Joe's sister's wedding which is suddenly in two weeks time! I've fretted about this for weeks, putting off the shopping trip, but today was the day and I'm pleased to say I've found a gorgeous 50s style tea dress!

Right, without further a do....the Sweet Stampin challenge this week is Gorgeous Gingham! So check out your paper stash and get crafting with your gorgeous gingham paper! I have to say I struggled a little with this challenge....assuming that I had plenty of gingham paper in stash to choose from....apparently this is all I have....

...literally that tiny rectangle was all I could find!! Oh well, sounds like the perfect excuse for a shopping trip!

I love this little stamp and haven't used him in ages, I think he looks soooo cute! I've picked a fresh green colour theme....to match my gingham BP and added some cute little punched daisys!

Hap-bee Birthday!

Hello folks, how are you this evening?

I'm in a surprisingly good mood for a Monday, not sure why! I've got lots of exciting things happening in the next couple of weeks, maybe thats a factor?? I've got a big meeting at work which I'm organising at The Langham hotel in London, as an organiser I attend the whole event including the dinner and I get to stay in the lovely hotel too. With nearly 70 guests its hard work, but good fun too! I've also got Joe's 30th Birthday and Joe's sister's wedding! So much going on!!

I've been asked to make a card for someone at work who has a Birthday this week, the gentleman in question keeps bees and loves the wildlife in his garden, so I've created this card for him....

I think its a tad bit girlie...what do you think? Hopefully he'll like it anyway! I've used a zingy yellow backing paper, along with some fab black and white polka dot paper for the background. I've also found a list of common garden flowers that I've added to the background too (this is from one of my gardening books so I hope he appreciates it!!). I've stamped a little bee and a happy birthday sentiment onto some plain white card, I've coloured the image with my Promarkers. Finally I added some little dots to frame my bee and some punched red flowers.

I'd like to enter this card in the following challenges this week:

Allsorts Challenge - anything but square - I'm afraid I haven't been very imaginative, but its not square!!
Cupcake Craft Challenge - textalicious - my list of garden flowers comes from a book!

Finally as promised yesterday, here are the yummy cupcakes that I made last night! They have an amaretto biscuit base, a baileys sponge and some vanilla frosting. I decorated the cupcakes with a little pink shimmer sugar! Joe has declared these as the best cakes he's ever tasted.....they also went down well at work, so I'm pleased!

Thanks for popping by today, I'm off to make some 2D Christmas tree ornaments from felt!

Blue and Green.....

Evening Folks!

Hope you're all well and had a lovely weekend! I spent yesterday morning with my mum in Farnham, we had a lovely time at the monthly market. Then when mum went home my best friend Becca arrived! What a busy Saturday! Today I've spent my day making Christmas cards....I finally got some festive inspiration from a cute and cuddly friend...

Isn't he cute??

Anyway, after my making first batch of festive cards I decided to pop by Sir Stampalot to see what challenge and they have this month....and I was sooo pleased to see that its a "blue and green" theme. I always love making blue and green cards because they make my mum cross...she's a firm believer in that old saying "blue and green should never be seen".....luckily I'm not!

I've gone back to an old favourite stamp for this card....its so versitile and people always love the cards it features on...really one of the best stamps I have ever bought! I've stamped the image on plain white card and then added sparkle with gems and glitter. I've used plain green and blue backing papers to frame the card and the image, and then I've added some really pretty blue backing paper that features white trees. I think it really matches the image. Finally I added the little circular sentiment.

Don't forget to pop by the Sir Stampalot blog to see all the gorgeous DT cards!

I think its time to bake some cakes now....I'll show you the results tomorrow!

More Spooky Happenings!

Hello crafters!

Hope you're having a fab weekend....our Halloween
Crafternoon tea yesterday was so much fun! The table looked fab, the food was really yummy and we had fun carving pumpkins and making spooking FIMO keyrings. Take a look at what we got up to.....

I actually made the spooky aprons that Lorna and I are wearing in the first photo....I'm so pleased with how they came out considering I haven't made aprons before. I used material scraps from my stash and some ribbon, they looked pretty cool and didn't fall apart!

I also have another card to share with you.....it's a little bit similar to yesterday's card....but I couldn't resist using this cute little image again! This time I've turned him into a spooky Birthday card!

This card would be perfect for my friend Becca....she loved the Halloween version of this card! I've opted for black and red papers today, which I think suit my little vampire really well.

I'd like to enter this card into two challenges:

Simon Says Stamp - anything goes
Secret Crafter Saturday Challenge - Spooky / whimsical card

Pop by both challenge blogs to see all the gorgeous DT cards that have been made.

Spooky Happenings!

Hello there crafters....Happy Saturday!

I hope you've all had a good week and have a lovely weekend planned. I have spent this week wishing my life away as Lorna and I are hosting a Halloween themed afternoon tea today! We've got Becca, Sheree, Anika, work Becca and Rafina joining us for scrummy Halloween inspired treats and some crafting and I can't wait! Here is a sneak peak of the cakes I have baked for the occassion - these are black forest cupcakes with an orange and cream coloured frosting....

I'll be back tomorrow with some photos for you!

So the theme this week over at Sweet Stampin is "Anything Goes".....so loads of scope to get creative and share your cards with us! What are you waiting for?? I was given a gorgeous Stampin Boutique digi to play with...its soooo cute and perfect for a Halloween card.....

Isn't that the cutest Vampire you've ever seen??

I've used green and orange papers to add to my Halloween theme and I couldn't resist a little sparkle! I actually gave this card to Becca....she loves all things spooky and weird!

Something to keep you warm!

Hello crafters...look at me...posting two days in a row!!

I've had a lovely evening once again, I got home fairly early and have spent the evening making cards and finishing off my bunting. First off here I have a card that I'd like to share with you....

Isn't she cute??

I've created this card for two different challenges....

Cupcake Craft Challenge - Denim and Lace - I've made my own lace and used lots of denim colours! I think this makes for a really pretty card.....I'll be using this combo again! I've added a little extra white with my faux stitching around the edge.

Secret Crafter Saturday Challenge - Wrap up Warm - I thought this little cutey looked snug as bug in her feathery boa....the perfect accessory for any party dress! I've coloured my image with Promarkers and added a little sparkle to the boa to add some dimension.

I have to say....I'm actually really pleased with this card! Pop over to the challenge blogs to see all the gorgeous DT cards that have been created.

Finally I wanted to share with you my finished bunting....if you popped by yesterday you'll know that I made that actual bunting, but felt that I was missing something....well with the help of some white felt I finished off the bunting.....

....spooky, but cute I hope you'll agree!!

Thanks for popping by today, its lovely to read all your lovely comments.

Getting ready for Halloween!

Hello crafters...hope you're having a good weekend!

I've had a fab day....I got my sewing machine out for the first time in ages. Lorna and I are hosting a Halloween themed afternoon tea next weekend for the girlies and I wanted to get some things ready. I've made bunting for the first time, it was fun picking the materials from my stash and putting them together. Here's what I've got so far....

I'm thinking of adding some little ghosts to the triangles....what do you think??

There are plenty of Halloween challenges out there at the moment....we've got one over at Sweet Stampin this week. But I've decided to make a non-stamped Halloween card for the challenge at Allsorts. I love my stamps...but I use them ALL THE TIME and sometimes I just want to make something out of paper! So, inspired by the HUGE spider that chased me around the living room earlier, here is my Halloween card....

Hee, hee...you can't beat some googly eyes!! More cute than scary, but hey its still a Halloween card! Now just don't ask me what happened to the spider in my flat...he was one those ones with really long legs and he didn't look as friendly as the one on my card!

Pop by the Allsorts blog to see all the spooky cards the DT made this week....and don't forget about our Halloween challenge over at Sweet Stampin!

While I'm talking about my fab teamies at Sweet Stampin I should mention the fab candy that Cathy's got on offer....pop by her blog and take a peek before its too late!!

I love Katy Perry!!

Hello there, lovely to see you!

I've had a fantastic weekend....the Katy Perry concert on Saturday night was amazing! I bought the tickets for Becca's Birthday back in June...so its been a long wait, but it was definitley worth it! I had standing tickets which I had my reservations about, and to be honest we did stand for a long time and get shoved about by the great British public.....but I wouldn't have changed them for the world! We got quite close to the front, and the atmosphere was AMAZING! Katy looked and sounded awesome, it was probably the best concert I've ever been to...yes, better than Take That!

Right, back to business...I've been crafting! There are several challenges this week that fit together nicely, so I've been having fun going through my paper stash and here is my card.....

The colours are for two different challenges...

White and one other colour - Secret Crafter Saturday Challenge (I've gone for white and lavender)
Lavender and Lace - Allorts

.......and my cute embellishments are for the Buttons and Bows challenge over at Cupcake Craft Challenge this week.

Anyone who as stopped by before knows that I love my girlie cards and my favourite colour is purple (or shades of!). So, I decided to get my tea set stamps out and my glitter and get crafting! I've made my own lace using white paper and a paper punch (Allsorts ladies I hope thats ok!), this puch reminds me of dollies, its very pretty! I couldn't find any bows in my stash so I made one from ribbon. I enjoyed picking out my buttons....I haven't used buttons in ages!!

Don't forget to pop by the Challenge blogs mentioned to see all the gorgeous DT cards!

Something for the men!

Happy Saturday! I hope you've had a fab week and you're looking forward to the weekend!

Well, thats not something you'd usually find on my blog.....normally you'd pop by here to find pink, sparkly, girlie cards...but this week we have a masculine card theme over at Sweet Stampin....so I had to get my thinking cap on!

I have to admit...it may be for a man, but my card has still managed to turn out quite cute!

I love this stamp....it reminds me of my boyfriend Joe who is a complete car nut and regularly comes home from the garage looking like this....covered in grease!!

Pop over to the Sweet Stampin blog to see all the other gorgeous DT cards for some great inspiration!

This is a short post today....I'm very excited because I'm off to the O2 later with my best friend Becca...we're seeing Katy Perry in concert and I can't wait!

A bit of sparkle and bling!

Hello campers, hope you're well today!

Well, I had an amazing start to the week yesterday....my lovely car broke down on the way to work at 7am yesterday morning! I was on the A3 at the time, and luckily managed to pull into a service station...where I waited for 90 minutes to be recovered back to a local garage near my home! I then had to get the train back passed my flat again to work.....my commute took a total of 5 hours from start to finish!!!! It turns out that all I'd done was snap an alternator belt and this was easily fixed by my boyfriend and cost me just £4.50...shame the recovery cost me £78!!! Things can only get better!!!

Anyway, I decided it was time for a little sparkle on my blog and I guess some of the challenge blogs out there felt the need for a little sparkle too (who can blame them!!).

This sparkly little number is for two different challenges....

Isn't she cute and sparkly? I've used pink and blue backing paper, along with some fab sparkly pink paper. I've coloured my image using my Promarkers and I've added a little more sparkle with my yellow Stickle. This card is for the following challenges:

Simon Says Stamp - Sparkle and Bling
Secret Crafter Saturday Challenge - Anything goes as long as it sparkles (my kind of challenge!!)

I've also added a lot of tiny faux stitches to this card, so it would also be perfect for our fab stitches challenge over at Sweet Stampin this week....check out all the gorgeous Team Fi DT cards on our challenge blog!

Thanks for popping by today, hope to see you again soon!

Black and White Christmas

Evening Folks!

I've had another fab evening....tonight I've made a card for this week's challenge over at Cupcake Craft Challenge and I've made the cutest mini cupcakes with a new caramel frosting recipe...its divine!

First off the card....the Cupcake challenge this week is "Black and White Christmas"...not the usual colours that you've associate with Christmas, however this combo makes for a very stylish Christmas card! I've used a new sentiment stamp that I bought in the sales after last Christmas and made a cute snowman to accompany the sentiment....

Isn't the sentiment cute?? I've used patterned backing paper for Mrs Snowman's hat and I've embellished my card with my trusty stickles...adding a little sparkle to the card.
Pop by the Cupcake blog to see all the gorgeous DT cards.

Now for the cakes.....I opted for mini cupcakes tonight because they are so easy to make, you only need half a batch of cupcake batter to make rather a lot of mini cupcakes! Plus I don't feel as guilty when I eat them! The cupcakes are vanilla with a caramel frosting and decorated with mini chocolate chips! I'm so glad I found this new caramel frosting, its smooth and very tasty! Thank you Rafina for sharing your backing magazine with me today!

Thanks for stopping by today...I'm off to eat cupcakes!

Food Glorious Food!

Evening Folks!

Thanks for popping by today...after a busy day at work I've had a really lovely evening....I had absolutely nothing planned and Joe is seeing some friends tonight...so what did I decide to do...make some cards! Bliss!

This month's challenge over at Stampalot Challenge is "Food Glorious Food"....a subject close to my heart! Anyone whose visited my blog before knows that I love cooking....particularly baking and this is often reflected in my cards. This evening is no different....

I went all girlie for this card...lots of pink and sparkle and a fab cupcake to celebrate someone's Birthday!

I've also been asked to make a card for someone at work recently which also kinda fits in with this theme....and another one of my passions....wine! The Birthday boy in question loves his wine too and so I decided to make him his own bottle of wine....a very fine vintage! I've made my bottle out of paper and added a lable printed with the Birthday boy's name and date of birth. I made a little Happy Birthday tag and tied this around the neck of the bottle.
Well, its only just gone 8pm and I'm thining about bed already! The joys of an evening with no plans! I think a mug of hot chocolate and a good book are calling!

Thanks for popping by today,

Sunday 2 October 2011

Phew! Its been a hot weekend!

Hello campers...hope you're all well and have had a fab weekend!

Its been scorching in Aldershot...really hard to believe that its October when its so sunny outside! I think there will be lots of bugs around when the weather changes again!

I had a lovely day yesterday with Becca, Lorna and Mum...we went to the monthly market in Farnham (where I bought a few goodies) and as an added bonus the food festival was also on - fab! Today I've relaxed in the garden and made LOTS of cards! I finally found my groove and really enjoyed some quality crafting this afternoon.

The first card that I'd like to share with you is for this week's challenge over at Simon Says Stamp where they have a fab "anything goes" challenge....

I really enjoyed making this card....my cards recently have been very focused on using stamped images and pretty papers, but I really enjoy making things out of paper, so this was a fun card to make. I'm really pleased by how these cute shoes have turned out!

The second card is for this week's challenge over at Allsorts where they want to see at least five flowers on our cards....

Firstly, I've just realised that this is an awful photo!! Sorry! I've used a distressing ink to colour the image of a teapot on some pretty pink backing paper. I stamped the sentiment onto the backing paper and added lots of punched paper flowers. Finally came a litle sparkle with my stickles - you can't beat a bit of sparkle!

Have you checked out the challenge this week over at Sweet Stampin? We've got a cute lilac and lace challenge for you, pop by the blog to see all the gorgeous DT cards and get crafting!

Thanks for popping by today,
I love reading all your lovely comments.
