A Little Bit of Fashion.....

.....Morning All! Blogging on a Saturday morning!! I haven't done this in ages! I'm off to the Make It! Show in Fanrborough today (so excited), but decided to get a little card on my blog first. Do you think its wrong that I'm more excited about this shopping trip than hitting the clothes shops?!?

Remember that I've been trying to tempt my poor friends over to the "craft side"?? Well it worked!! My friend Becca is coming with me today! I'm not sure whether she'll get bored....I hope not...surely all that lovely stash can't be boring?!? I'll let you know how we get on!

Talking of clothes....here are is my card.....

A little bit of fashion to help celebrate London Fashion week.....and to help me with a card challenge this week. Over at Cute Card Thursday they have set a ribbon-tastic challenge - yes they want to see projects with ribbons on.....as many or as few as you want. The DT have created some lovely cards, to see them take a peek here.

I have started with a pink backing paper and topped it with some cream handmade paper. Onto that I have attached a piece of thick pink ribbon, which is embellished with a cute button. I have cut a little black dress out and added another cute bit of ribbon as a belt. I found the Yves Saint Laurent quote online and thought it was lovely to send to a stylish friend! Its a simple card this card, with minimal ribbon, but I think it suits the sentiment.

Did you see the "normal" size models on the catwalk at London Fashion week? I think its great that they have used these models, but the clothes seemed a little tight on them...is that how they were supposed to look?!?

Anyway, I hope you have a lovely day....maybe I'll bump into some of you at the show today?!?
Thanks for stopping by!

For Mum....

Morning All - I slept for England last night! Went to be at a respectable hour and managed to sleep all night! I feel brilliant this morning!! You never realise how much you need to good nights sleep until you get one!!

Anyway, today's card is one I created for this week's Secret Crafter Saturday Challenge (I'm a bit late this week!!). The theme this week is Mother's Day...but it doesn't have to be an actual Mother's Day project - it can be for a mum's birthday or a new mum...anything mum related! You should take a look at the lovely cards the DT came up with - all so gorgeous and diferent...take a peek here!

So....here is my mother project....something that could be given to a mum at anytime really......

As you may know I do enjoy the odd bit of stitching and this sometimes creeps onto my cards. I recently saw some beautiful canvas works that inspired me to create this card. The canvas was white with fabric flowers sewn on - very beautiful and striking and I wondered whether I could create something like it on a smaller scale. Instead of fabric I have worked with paper on my project and I have used a lot more colour than the one I saw, but I think its worked well.

I've used light pink backing paper to start with. I then cut the flower shapes out of patterned paper...I tried lots of different shapes, but think these suited this card best. I hand stitched around the outline of the flowers in a pinky lilac cotton and then hand stitched the green stalks onto some cream handmade paper. The handmade paper was attached onto the pink backing paper, and the flowers were then added - I used 3D sticky pads to give them a lift! Finally I added my sentiment - for mum.

I enjoyed making this card - its great to be inspired by something you see and then be able to create something different. I've shown my mum this card and I know she liked it - so hopefully other mums will too!

Thank you for all the lovely comments you left me for the last card - maybe I didn't need that red border after all!

Right - better get going! Thanks for stopping by!

If Friends were flowers.....

.....morning everyone....its been a while I know....one of those weeks where just living seems to take over everything else! Anyway, for some unknown reason I was wide awake at 5:30am this morning, so like any other normal human being I decided to make a card! Thats normal isn't it??!

This cute little card fits in with two different card challenges that are running this week. Firstly we have this week's Cupcake Craft Challenge where the lovely ladies have asked to see projects with a friends theme. The sentiments used by the DT on their cards are all sooo cute, take a peek here to see them. Over at the Allsorts Challenge Blog they would like to see projects that include a tag, ticket or label. The DT have come up with some wonderful designs, take a peek here to see them.

So I decided to go with an old saying that always makes me smile. I've themed my card around friendship and flowers, with a red and black colour combo. Looking at the card now I kinda wish i'd used a red backing paper first and then layered on top of that, but hey...coulda, shoulda, woulda!! I started with a black blacking paper, which is topped with some red and white polka dot paper and my hand coloured image, surrounded with a plain black border. I've used two strips of black ribbon with cute little flowers on, to match my blakc borders. I have created a tag for my sentiment, and that is raised up using 3D sticky pads. Then last but not least I've used some punched flowers in black and red in the bottom corner. Even without the right border I think I'd love to get this card from a friend - I like the colour combo because its bold, just like the sentiment!

I'm still a little bemused as to why I was awake so early this morning....I did try to get back to sleep, but nothing seemed to work, so I gave up! Does anyone have any tips for getting back to sleep in the wee hours?!? Let me know!

Thanks for stopping by today, hope you have a fab day!

One piece of paper....

....afternoon all...what lovely weather...for ducks! Hope you're keeping warm wherever you are in the world! I'm sat here in my PJs with a mug of steaming hot tea! I HATE the cold!!

I've decided to carry on with the keeping it simple theme for today's card...it's another card challenge entry....this one is for the ABC Challenge Blog. They are now up to the letter O...and this week's challenge is "O is for...one piece of paper". The DT have come up with some lovely designs this week, take a peek here.

My entry is a card that I've been requested to make for a friend - she wanted a green "Thank Ewe" card, so here goes:

I've used a gorgeous green and whte spotty backing paper that I've recently bought as the basis for my card, onto which I've added two different ribbons and three gorgeous buttons. Ok, I know I said I was keeping it simple....but at least I've only used one piece of paper!

The little sheep is from a Crafters Companions decoupage sheet and I love him, I use this image quite a lot. He comes with a little cow friend, a piggie and some ducks!

The final touch was the red glitter glue....I tried to resist honest, but I couldn't help it! I felt that the red picked out the spots on the ribbon and gave a nice finish!

I seem to have used rather a lot of green recently......still it makes a nice change to all that girlie pink and purple!

Thanks for stopping by today!

Sew Simple!

Afternoon All - what a difference a day makes...isn't this sunshine lovely?

Well, I decided to enter another two card challenges today, so I headed over to the Cupcake Craft Challenges blog and the Bee Crafty Blog to see what kind of projects they are currently looking for. Bee Crafty would like to see projects that involved some sewing (and a digi image)...it could be real or fake sewing and they offer some brilliant tips for getting the best results. Take a peek here at the fab DT cards - all "sew" cute! Cupcake Craft Challenges are asking for projects that are simple this week - brilliant challenge for me as my cards are often covered in buttons, ribbon and glitter! Take a peek at the DT inspirations here. So i thought i'd have a bash at a more simple card and thought my design for the Bee Crafty challenge would also fit this challenge too.

So without further ado here is my sew simple card:
I have to admit that the stitching is a little wonky, but I hope that gives it a shabby chic kinda feel! I've kept to two contrasting colours and used a fab image that I have downloaded from Bee Crafty (I love their designs so much!). No buttons or ribbon in sight......I even managed to put the glitter glue down....I'm very proud of myself! Ha, ha!

Thanks for stopping by today, hope you're having a fab week.

There is a lot of rain out there!!

Well, its really raining cats and dogs in little old New Malden this evening! Not great for an invalid with a crutch...everything is so slippery!! So, I had a wonderful Valentine's weekend - Joe cooked me a lovely meal and I'm the proud owner of a cute little Bonsai tree - I'm very happy!

I spent today in hospital lucky me - i had my first ever CT Scan today...I'm experienced in the radiology department the radiographer told me...I've already had an MR and an ultrasound in the last three months! The CT scan was actually really quick - I had to fast for four hours beforehand and then they wanted me to drink a whole jug of water in one day - isn't medicine odd! After the scan I was whisked around to the ward and spent the afternoon on a drip having a steroid infusion...again a first for me. I didn't like the drip particularly, it made my arm feel odd, but hey ho its all over now. They also took some bloods to test.

As you can imagine I wasn't looking forward to this day, so I decided to take my mind off things first thing this morning and made this cute card

I'm pleased with how this one turned out as I wasn't convinced by the colour scheme to start with. This card fits in nicely with two card challenges this week.

Firstly, over at the Secret Crafter Saturday Challenge they wanted to see projects that used a multi fold. At first I didn't think I'd enter this week as I've never tried a card with more than one fold...but then as I read again I realised the folds could be in the decoration. So inspired by an old PaperCraft Inspiration magazine I created this little dress with a folded skirt. The DT have come up with loads of gorgeous inspirational designs, take a peek here to see them. I really should get more adventurous with my folding!

The other challenge that this card fits into is this week's Allsorts Challenge, where they have given us a 3-2-1 recipe to follow. Take a look at all the different DT cards here, its amazing to see all the different cards people create when given the same challenge! Brilliant! My 3-2-1 is as follows - 3 buttons, 2 ribbons and 1 piece of backing paper. I was going to layer the ribbon on top of each other, but I think the angle of the top ribbon looks brilliant (even if I do say so myself!) and echos the angle of the dress.

So, thanks to card making I went into hospital a little calmer than I might have done otherwise. I'll be getting all the results next week - lets hope I get some answers and can finally get fixed! While I'm here I just wanted to say a HUGE thank you to my sister Lorna for sitting with me today - she must have been soooo bored, but I really appreciated her company!

Thanks for stopping by, hope to see you again soon.

In the Name of Love

Evening everyone....have you noticed anything funny this week? There seems to be a lot more pink and red in the shops, the radios are playing a lot more love songs than usual and there seems to be hearts everywhere you look! Yes, its that time of year again....Valentine's Day is just a couple of days away!

So, what's your opinion on the day?? Is it just a commercial holiday driven by the shops to make us spend our hard earnt pennies?? Or is it a day dedicated to telling your loved one just how special they are? I hope that my boyfriend knows exactly how special he is to me - I tell him I love him often enough! He has been so brilliant over the last three months - it can't exactly be much fun having a girlfriend with a dodgy knee! I've been using my crutch since mid November, I get tired sooo easily and my moods have been rather irratic. But has he moaned? No, he's been brilliant - looking after me, driving me around everywhere and listening to my moans! He's evening cooking me a Valentine's dinner.

Why all this talk of love and Valentines?? Well, over at Cute Card Thursday this week the card challenge is love themed projects. The DT have created some gorgeous cards, take a peek here for some love inspiration! To be honest I wasn't going to make anymore Valentine's cards, but hey you know me - I can't resist a card challenge! So here is my last Valentine's card for this year:

I've used a gatefold card for this project, so it opens in the middle. I've kept the colours soft, using light grey and a soft pink for a romantic touch. I used a piece of grey backing paper on each side and then cut various sized rectangles from white paper to put on top of the grey. The grey hearts were created on my computer, along with the sentiment. The pink hearts are punched out of the pink paper.

Once assembled I added a little glitz to the card with my trusty glitter glue. A simple, romantic card perfect for telling someone how much they mean to you.

One of my other hobbies is to collect old postcards, there is something so charming about them. I love reading what has been written on the back - a tiny piece of someone's history captured forever on a small piece of card. Looking at my collection I have realised that I haven't got any Valentine postcards, so I've been on the internet looking at images and I came across these wonderful cards:

I wonder who sent these cards and I wonder what messages they contained! I've heard it said that e-cards will become more and more popular as we become more environmentally aware. It would be sad if people stopped sending tradtitonal paper cards altogether though - I don't know about you, but I don't tend to keep e-cards, they get deleted fairly quickly....and that's a little bit of history lost forever!
Happy Valentine's Day - I hope you have a lovely time whatever you're up to.

Becca's Famous Friend.....

....that's me!! Ha, ha!

Morning everyone...hope you're all well and not too chilly in this new bout of wintery weather. Well, Becca is one of my best friends and she declared last night that I am her famour friend after I told her my latest news. Take a little peek at this.....

This is the new Papercraft Inspiration magazine....it's out in the shops next week, I'm a subscriber so I get it a little earlier (fab perk!!).

Anyway, back in December I'd made a couple of cards inspired by some of their pages, I was quite pleased with the results so I sent them into the magazine and wrote them a little note about enjoying their magazine. I also put them my blog. I then promptly forgot all about it!

Imagine my surprise yesterday as I flicked through the pages and saw my cards staring back at me! How cool! If you look at the magazine page, mine are the collection of three cards on the right hand side! To say I am a little chuffed is an understatement - what a buzz to see my own work in print!

Anyway, thats enough showing off from me today - I am just so pleased I had to share!!

No new cards this morning, but I'm sure there will be some either later today or first thing tomorrow. In the meantime I hope you have a fab day whatever you're doing!

Red and White All Over!

Morning Folks! Hope you're all well this morning! I want to say a HUGE thank you to everyone for their lovely comments, thanks for taking the time to write something - I love reading your thoguhts on my cards.

There is a lot to be said for postive thinking you know (that and friends, family and work colleagues who put up with you whatever your mood!). I'm in a much better frame of mind now than I was on Monday, but nothings really changed...my knee still hurts, I'm currently waiting to hear when my scan and steroid infusion will be.....but I've decided to smile! I was truely down in the dumps on Monday (and the weekend as my lovely boyfriend will know!!), but I think I got fed up of being in a bad mood for no good reason!!

Anyway, now that you know I'm sitting her smiling rather than frowning (hopefully saving myself from future wrinkles!!) I want to share a new card with you..........

I made this for the Cupcake Craft Challenge this week....can you guess the theme?? Yes, they wanted to see projects with pink elephants on.....sorry lame joke....they wanted to see projects featuring the colour combo red and white. The DT examples are all gorgeous and highlight just how many different shades of red there are! Click here to take a peek. I love red and white together, especailly when it involves spots, it always makes me smile.

So, I dug through my paper stash and found two different backing papers - one plain, one spotty! I also decided to use another Bee Crafty digi image that I bought earlier this week, colouring it in red (with a little yellow hair). The sentiment is created on my computer, using the shape option in Word. I then embellished with some fab dotty ribbon and some punched flowers....oh and a little glitter glue! I'm happy with this card - its lovely and bright and it makes me smile....always a good thing in a card!

I'm going to keep up the smiling...even the bird's nest that has taken the place of my hair this morning won't stop me (I look like I've been pulled through a hedge backwards as my dear mother would say!). I hope you all have a good day, whatever you may be doing!

Thanks for stopping by.

A little bit of purple...

....Morning All! I hope you're all well this morning! I've woken up feeling much better than yesterday, so I am going to plough ahead with my positive thoughts and try and keep the grumps away today!

I also decided to go back to my roots today and make a completly purple card! Well, ok its purple and white.....and very girlie...what do you think??

I made this lovely card to enter in the Secret Crafter's Saturday Challenge this week, where they are asking us to use white and one other colour in our projects. The DT cards are all so lovely and varied, take a peek here to see them.

The dressing table and stool came from a pack of pre-cut die shapes that I bought online, I've got 15 of them in different colours so expect to see them quite a look over the next month or so! I didn't realise how large they were so I am lucky to have the huge oblong cards that I originally hated so much! Ha, ha!

I've used a dark purple backing paper, which I've topped with the purple hearts paper as the background. The dressing table and stool are actually one solid colour, so I cut the white pieces out and glued them in place to give me the pretty contrast. The dressing table is then attached to the card with 3D foam pads and the stool is stuck directly onto the card. I finally accesoried with the little flowers punched out of white paper with a glitter dot in the middle.

I'm pleased with this card...its all the things I love in life.....purple.....girlie....and a bit sparkly!

Well, I suppose work is calling.....I think I'll try and smile as much as possible today....surely you can't be grumpy if you're already smiling?? Wish me luck!!

A little distressed!

Hello and thanks for stopping by!

I have to admit that I am feeling a little sorry for myself at the moment, I am exhausted from the whole knee situation and to be honest more than a bit fed up of it all. I know I shouldn't moan, its not life threatening and it could be a whole lot worse......but I'm still just not feeling it at the moment...no stiff upper lip for me! Ha, ha! How very un-British of me! As you can tell one thing that's keeping me going is entering all the fab card challenges that get posted every week - I can't recommend doing them enough as they really push you out of your comfort zone and stretch your imagination!

This week over at the allsorts challenge blog they want us to get all distressed with buttons and a bow! They quite rightly point out that us crafters have a tendency of being fairly neat....we like to cut things in striaght lines with a guillotine! By the way have you seen those laser guided scissors that have been advertised on telly recently?! Apparently you get a straight line if you follow the laser line.....the demo I saw didn't do a fab job though and I'm not convinced....I'd love to hear from you if you have some!

Anyway, shopping aside I decided to rise to the challenge and add a little bit of distressing to my latest card. The DT have been very inspirational, giving me the courage to tear my paper for a change, giving it a raw edge, which I actually think looks quite nice. Take a peek at their designs here. I decided I wanted a bright and cheerful card and so stepped away from the pinks once again, I also wanted to use some new embellishments that I've recently bought - the little person and the car! Super cute!

So, I used a square white card as the base and topped it with a piece of green straight edged paper and a piece of patterend paper with the raw edges, to add a little contrast. I've used some funky ribbon and a brilliant big, green button which is hand stitched onto the card. This was a simple card to put together and I hope it will make someone smile!

I'm going to try and not be so grumpy at work...in fact in life generally......I wish the sun would shine a little more....maybe that would cheer me up a bit!

Thanks for stopping by, see you soon!

Wedding Wishes

Morning All, I'm going to be at the boyfriend's all weekend, with no internet access so I thought I'd get another card on my blog this morning before heading into the office. If you scroll down my blog you'll see that yesterday's entry was made quite late at night....I'd promised myself that I'd go to bed once I'd finished.....did I?? No I didn't!! I went shopping!!!

I found this fab blog called Bee Crafty where they have the cutest digi images to buy and download, and I couldn't help myself! You should take a peek at the gorgeous images they have on offer, click here to visit their blog. I got a couple of images and wanted to use one straight away!! What am I like?? Anyway, here is the card I created from my digi image:
I downloaded several images, but this one fits in with their current challenge, they want to see a romantic theme, and I think by using these lovely pastel colours I've given my card a lovely romantic theme. I've used plain and coloured papers, along with some of my gorgeous glitter glue. The DT over at Bee Crafty have used various other images in their cards, all gorgeous....take a peek here.

The gorgeous layout that I've used for this card has actually come from another challenge, over at the Truly Scrumptious blog they have given us this sketch as their current challenge. I've been using a lot of square cards for sketch layouts recently, so it was nice to work with a different shape. Check out the fab DT designs here.

Anyway, I think I better get a wriggle on....work is calling. I've been a bit naughty this morning.....I had sugar on my toast! Ha, ha! An awful habit I picked up in my teens and occassional revisit! Naughty but nice I think is the phrase!!

Thanks for paying me a visit today, hope you have a fab Friday!

Spots before my eyes!

Evening All.....a late one tonight...I'm surprised that I'm still awake as I am soooo sleepy today. The steroids are really messing with my sleep now....only another four days to go, then back to the doctors!

So, tonight I've been working on an exciting little project. Do you remember the other day I showed you my card with the removable cupcake recipe?? Well that got me thinking...at Christmas time I made all my friends a bookmark...Anika in particular has got great use of of her one (she told me today!) and that made me think that they make quite cool little pressies. Sooooo.......I decided to create a card like the cupcake recipe one, but with a removable bookmark!

The card:
I've used the large oblong card again as that gives me the most room. I've used fab spotty backing paper from the Forever Friends range and made a little pocket out of pink paper. I printed my message on the paper before creating the pocket. I then wrapped the pocket with some lovely white spotty ribbon that I got for free (I know - lucky me!) when I bought some glitter glue recently. I've embellished the card with a couple of punched out flowers and used mini glitter spots in the middle of each.

The bookmark:
I've created the bookmark from layered paper and card in pinks and purples (no surprise there reallyt!) that I have then embellished with the same punched flowers as the main card. Again I printed my sentiment before making the bookmark. I have then laminated the bookmark to make it a little stronger. I've punched a hole in the top of the bookmark and threaded some pink ribbon through for a little girlie finishing touch.

I think this would make a lovely card to give to someone who you wanted to give a little gift to....maybe a thank you or a thinking of you gift??

This project also fits in nicely with the challenge over at Cute Card Thursday as they have asked for projects that include spots and dots! The DT have come up with loads of fab variations on the theme...take a peek here.

I also wanted to give my friend a quick mention as I am rather jealous of her current challenge......Fiona is training for this year's London Marathon! I used to be a keen runner myself (pre-knee problems!), but the furthest I ever ran was the Great South Run, which was 10 miles. I am very impressed as this an amazing challenge and I know Fiona and her husband are both training very hard. They are raising money for The Shaw Trust which is a national charity providing training and work opportunities for people who are disadvantaged in the workplace due to disability, ill health or other social circumstances. For more info take a peek here.

Thanks for stopping by and taking a peek at my latest card.

N is for......

....new stash! Evening all...hope you've all had a lovely Wednesday. My day has been interesting, I've experienced so many moans today from work colleagues...I'm glad to be back at home!

Anyway, I've been experiementing with the word art function in Microsoft word and as a result I have several sentiments to use on my cards that look out of the ordinary and give a slightly different dimension to my cards. It was so simple to do, but as you'll see from these cards its very effective.

To achieve this you need to open word and select the word art option. You then write the sentiment that you require, using the arc shape. Make sure you also choose the font that you want to use. The sentiment will then appear as an arc on the page, but if you double click on the arc you open up a new selection of tools which allow you to mulipulate the words even more. I have changed the angles of my arcs, and changed the colours I used. You need to play about with this function a little bit and I did end up with an upside down sentiment more than once, but I think the effort was worth it!

As a result of my playing and printing I now have a lovely new stash of sentiments to add to my cards! This fits in well with a new challenge that I've found over on a lovely blog called ABC Challenge. They run challenges on a fortnightly basis, challenging crafters to create a card or project based on a theme or technique using the letters of the alphabet in turn. This week its "N is for...new stash!"          The DT have come up with some adorable cards for this challenge, take a peek here.

I think I'll enter the Thinking of You card for this challenge, as not only have I used my new sentiment, the lovely blue ribbon and the backing paper are also new (yes, I've been shopping!!).

Anyway, I'm off to Brownies very shortly....we're planting cress seeds this week...then I'm candle making with the Guides - no rest for the wicked!

Puppy Love

Woo hoo - I slept all through the night! I didn't want to get up this morning.....a vast improvement on yesterday! My boss is also joining me in the office today which means that the automatic lights won't be going out every 20 minutes (apparently I don't move around enough!!). Surely thats a health and safety issue??

Anyway, I promised you something pink today and do not fear I am about to deliver...its pink and cute!

So this cute little fella has been put together for another two challenges....firstly the ladies over at Secret Crafter Saturday Challenge wanted to see projects with hearts on. Click here to see the DT cards, they've all used such lovely images. The card also fits in with the Cupcake Craft Challenge as they wanted projects which included ou four-legged furry friends! The DT have come up with some fab examples, they can be seen here.

So, for this one I have used a pink backing paper on a white square card. I have then used a very light pinky-white paper covered in hearts as the second layer (not sure where this one is from!). The cute little doggy comes from a topper that I bought from EBay - he actually sits in a square box, but I decided to cut him out and mount him on two hearts for this card. The hearts sit flush on the card, but I've used 3D foam pads to attach the dog. Finally the sentiment - Puppy Love backed with more pink paper!

Right, happy crafting folks, hope you have a good Tuesday....I'm off to dance with the lights in my office now!

Thanks a Bunch!

Another Monday evening is here already! I can't believe it...where did my weekend go?? The one thing I am pleased with at the moment is that my Monday seems to have sped by just as quickly as my weekend! I originally woke up at about 5am this morning......a whole two and a half hours before I was supposed to!! Could I get back to sleep.....NO!! Typical!

I've spent a lovely evening making a couple of new cards and baking some delicious biscuits. I'm normally a cake maker...I just adore making gorgeous cupcakes. My lovely Sister Lorna and I regularly treat our friends to a homemade afternoon tea. Lorna has all the pretty bone china, and we make cakes and scones. Its fab! A lovely way to spend a Saturday afternoon.....freshly brewed (green) tea seems to taste better out of bone china cups!
Anyway, you don't want to know about my baking secrets...or do you...no I'm hoping you've stopped by to see my latest creation...well this evening I've made  a card for two different challenges. I fancied making a thank you card and I wanted to use a different colour scheme to the norm. I have some wonderful papers in my stash that always get overlooked because I automatically lean towards the pinks and purples. So today I've gone with blues, greens and yellowy-oranges!

This card is based on the sketch that can be found over at the Allsorts Challenge Blog. To see the sketch and the DT creations which are all lovely, take a peek here. The card also fits in with this week's challenge over at Cute Card Thursday, where they wanted to see blooming gorgeous projects! The DT have used all sorts of different flowers on their cards, take a peek here.

As I said I wanted to use different colours this week, and so I've rumaged through my stash and found these gorgeous backing papers that I've layered as per the sketch design. I've used a stamped image that I got from a Crafts Beautiful image swap (thank you ladies), I've coloured the image with my Whispers Strokes pens. I love these pens as they are double ended - thick one end, thin the other. I used this particular image because of the basket of flowers, I have then added another two flowers which I've punched out of co-ordinating papers. I've embellished the flowers with small glitter stickers, and added another one to the girl's hair ribbon (a girl's gotta have a bit of sparkle!).

I hope you like my blooming gorgeous thank you card.....don't worry I'll be back tomorrow with more pink no doubt!!
