First off there is the Sir Stampalot Challenge where they have a brand new challenge every month - the theme for this month is Fantasy. The prize is stuff of fantasy itself - the lucky winner will recieve a Cricut Personal Electronic Cutter plus a Pooh Font Cartridge - how fab is that?!? I've never really done fantasy as a theme before, so I hope this is ok! The image is one I got from a recent image swap so I'm lucky to have it in my stash! I've used some pink embossed card as the background, which features some whimsical swirls! I've also added some fab lacy ribbon to match my faries dress and some sparkly gems.
The embossed card, ribbon and gems make it quite a tactile card......and therefore i would also like to enter into the Cute Card Thursday Challenge this week which calls for touchy feely cards! The DT have added all sorts of dimensions to their cards, take a peek here.
I've also found a lovely blog called the Papertake Weekly Challenge, you should pop over there and see the lovely cards they feature. They set new challenges every Tuesday...this week its called Cutie Pie and they are looking for cute images on cards. They have a fab DT creating for them, take a peek here. Here is my cute card:
This features a cute little puppy image and more of the Creative Cottage paper that I bought yesterday. I think the combination of colours and those dots makes it a real cute card....even if I do say so myself!! Ha, ha!!
Anyway, I'd better get going really....its my Birthday tomorrow so next time you hear from me I'll be another year older.....hopefully the wrinkles won't appear over night and I'm still asked for ID when I try and buy wine at the supermarket!!
