Happy Bunny

Hello there,

Happy Saturday! Hope you've had a tea-riffic week!

Mine has been busy...but being busy keeps me out of trouble! I'm back this week with another lovely challenge from Sweet Stampin...this week we have an Easter challenge for you. Can you believe that it's nearly Easter already....it looks like 2015 is going to escape as quickly as 2014 did!

Anyway, here is my Easter card for you.....

I have used a cute Digi Stamp Boutique image for this card, coloured with my Promarkers. I love this happy little bunny....he looks so pleased with himself! There again if I had all those Easter eggs I supposed I would look happy too!

As well as the Easter egg backing paper, I have also added some cute polka dots paper and some blue and white striped paper. My sentiment has been made on my computer, I added a little faux stitching to the Easter egg shape as a finishing touch.

For more Easter inspiration pop by the Sweet Stampin challenge blog and take a peek at the fab DT cards that have been created this week. While you are there you can find out about our fab sponsor too....

I'd like to enter this card in the following challenges:
Digi Stamp Boutique - monthly competition

If you fancy taking a peek at something a litle different this weekend, you could always visit my YouTube channel....yes Lorna and I decided that reading about our afternoon tea adventures on Tea With Me and Friends wasn't enough....now you can see and hear us too!

We'd love it if you could give our vlogs a little "thumbs up"..... Take a peek here!

Bring on the cake!

Hello there,

Happy Saturday! I hope you've had a lovely week!

Today I back with a fabulous new challenge from Sweet Stampin....a challenge is that very dear to my heart! If you have popped by this blog before or seen my afternoon tea blog you'll know that I am rather partial to cake! I love it all...Victoria sponge, coffee, lemon, chocolate...you name it and I'll try it. My sister recently made a gin and tonic cake....how good does that sound??

Anyway, if you hadn't already guessed...our challenge at Sweet Stampin is....CAKE!

So, you might not be able to tell from this picture....but this little cutie is literally little...measuring just 9cm x 9cm. Normally when I create dinky cards like this I keep it simple, I tend to just stamp, colour and add some faux stitching....so this time I decided to challenge myself to adding a little more.

I have to say I am really pleased with how this turned out, its still not overly complicated with just two papers and a little faux stitching, but there is definitely more elements on there than my usual dinky creations!

For more cake inspiration pop by the Sweet Stampin challenge blog to see the scrummy cards that my fellow teamies have created! While you're there you can read all about our lovely sponsor this week...

If you fancy drooling over some more cards, why not pop by our afternoon tea blog....guilt free reading guaranteed!

We have a lovely new logo - let me know what you think!

Whoops.....better late than never....

Hello there,

So, I was supposed to post this card yesterday, as we have a fab new challenge for you over at Christmas at Sweet Stampin.....but I got a little dis-organised by a weekend of country music at the O2 with the lovely Abi and Sammy from the Sweet Stampin family! I enjoyed the twang and cowboy hats a little bit too much and forgot to get my card organised!

Anyway, as they say....better late than never!

Our challenge this month is a "Blue Christmas" - interpret that however you like, as long as you create a Christmas card and there is some stamping involved! Here is my card....

I love this little cutie!

I've used a blue and white polka do background to mirror the snow in my image, I have then added some more blue and white patterned paper and a little Dollie! I have added a little colour to my card with my Promarkers and then added a little sparkle with some Stickles (you know me....I can't resist a spot of glitter!).

For more blue Christmas inspiration pop by the Christmas at Sweet Stampin Challenge blog....while you're there you can take a peek at our lovely sponsor this week....

As you can see Lorna and I thoroughly got into the spirit of country with our hats and checked shirts....
