Tea-riffic Experience!

Hello!

Me again - I'm back with my second post for today....this time for My Time to Craft.

UPDATE - before you read this post...I must apologise as it appears I have gone slightly mad and managed to mix up my challenges! The card mentioned below was in fact for the challenge at My Time to Craft last week! Whoops!

This Last week we have had a lovely challenge for you, we are were looking for vintage/shabby chic cards or projects. Now, as you can imagine this challenge is right up my street! I love a bit of vintage!

I opted to include one of my favourite vintage items on this card.....yes that's right...some teacups!

I've coloured my digi stamp teacups with my Promarkers, I have used plain pink backing paper topped with some pretty polka dot paper (which I have torn to give rough edges). I've added a doily and a collection of pretty buttons. Finally I have used a digi stamp sentiment.

I'd also like to enter this card in the following challenges:
Digi Stamp Boutique - monthly customer competition
Papertake Weekly - Two by Two (I used two papers!)
Crafty Sentiments - anything goes

This card also reflects the tea-riffic day that I experienced last Saturday - when I enjoyed afternoon tea in a tree house! It was a lovely afternoon which was organised by the Secret Tea Society! This was the first time that I met the other members of the society and I have to say that they are a wonderful bunch of tea loving ladies! We enjoyed scones and cakes, and a really good natter!

Read more about my experience over on my afternoon tea blog!

UPDATE - the theme for this week's challenge over at My Time to Craft is in fact "sorry I forgot your Birthday"....to see the card I made for this challenge, pop by here! I'm blaming all the sunshine on my holiday for this mix up!!

Thanks for popping by today,
its lovely to see you!

Lovin' those teacups, Wedgie and a great colour choice too! There's nothing to compare with a good cuppa and some lovely cake! The Boy Wonder and I are off to York in a week's time and will be heading to Betty's for our afternoon tea fix. Enjoy the rest of your weekend. Hugs, Tracey xx
