Happy Wednesday!

Hello Folks, hope you're keeping well today.

I have a little card for you today...

I still find it very hard to make cards for Dads. My Dad passed away last year and although I'm ok, its still a raw subject for me. In fact Fathers Day last year passed by just fine.....but this year all the adverts on TV are making me a little sad. Its funny how the mind works isn't it?!

Anyway, this red, white and blue extravaganza is for the following challenges:

Oldie but a Goodie - anything goes - my item that is more than 6 months old is the stamp....I've had this for at least a year (probably longer!) and I pull it out of the drawer every so often as he makes me smile!

Birthday Wishes!

Hello Peeps, Happy Tuesday!

Hope you've had a good day....and I hope the sun was shining where ever you are in the world! Its been glorious here today.

Sooo....I have a cute little card for you today....its a Birthday card.....it has a fab sentiment and it features cakes! What more could you want??

I've used plain red and blue backing paper, along with some cute patterned papers also in red and blue. I've coloured my cute cupcakes with my Promarkers and fixed them onto the card using 3D sticky pads......adding a little sparkle to the icing with my sparkles. Finally I added the sentiment which I created on my computer.

I love buttons!!

Hello my fellow crafters....how are you today?

Hope you've had a better Monday than me....I've worked from home this afternoon and I've been plagued by IT issues....included my work laptop screen going completly blank at one point! That was scary!! I'm pleased to say its all fixed now and so I'm a happy bunny again!!

Soooo...its Monday...its time to join in the fun at Make it Monday. I'm so pleased to have discovered this fab linky party blog....you get to see so many great makes each week! Its also time for a new challenge at Cupcake Craft Challenge and this week they have a book lover challenge. You need to feature a book, or maybe a page from a book or stamped text! What a fab challenge!

So, what do you think? I've used lots of pinks and purple today! Plus that fab stamped text and some buttons with thread tied into bows. I always forget how much I love using buttons on projects....as well as my cards I also customise tops and add them to cushions. I love them!!
