A very good crafting hour!

Hello folks!

Well I came home from work this evening and after spending a total of 2 and a half hours in my car travelling to and from work today I decided it was time to put some Brad Paisley on nice and loud and get creative!!

There is a fab challenge over at Stampalot this month...they want to see your crafting passion...how cool is that! Some of you might know what my crafting passion is.....I love creating things out of a pile of paper. I love it....love the challenge and find it sooo satisfying. I've made loads of car cards before for Joe and his car nut Dad....but I'll try anything out! Today I was asked to make a card for someone who wanted a leopard on the front....well I certainly haven't got a leopard stamp so I got my papers out and got creative.....

Ha, ha! Its a bit of an evil looking leopard...those eyes are a bit menacing, but I thoroughly enjoyed putting this card together! I've used paper scraps from my stash along with my Promarkers and a white gel pen.

Here is the photo I used as inspiration...

Inspired by this card I also decided to make another Birthday card...and I stayed with the cat theme...but went a little smaller this time....

Now I love this stamp! I've had it a while now, but it never fails to make me smile! I've used some more of those retro papers for this card, along with some shiny dots. The catd are coloured with my Promarkers and the fab layout is a sketch that I found at Passion for Promarkers this week. I'm really pleased with this card!

I'd like to enter this card in the following challenges:

My Time to Craft - Cats & Dogs (I went with cats!)
Passion for Promarkers - the fab sketch
Papertake Weekly - anything goes

Pop by all the blogs mentioned to see the gorgeous DT cards that have been created!

Well what a lovely evening I've had already and its not even 8pm yet!!

Keeping it in the family

Hello folks, hope you're having a lovely weekend.

Its so nice to see some sunshine. Today is a sad day for me and my family, as its a whole year since my Dad passed away from cancer. I still can't believe that a year has passed by so quickly and I'd like to thank all my friends and family for their ongoing support - you're all wonderful!

With this in mind I was pleased to see a "card for a man or boy challenge" over at Allsorts this week....this card is for my Dad...

This cheeky little chappie reminds me of my Dad quite a bit....althought the image has a lot more hair than Dad had!! Dad was a complete handy man....complete with lots of tools! There wasn't anything he wouldn't try and fix himself!

I've spent this morning with my mum and my sister and her hubby at Wisley Gardens, a beautiful place that we visited with Dad when he was well. We wandered around the gardens and bought lots of plants between us.

After this I've had some time to myself, so I did what makes me happiest....I baked some cupcakes and made some cards!! Here is my next card...

I'm pleased with how this card turned out, the LOVT image is really cute and these papers are lovely new ones that I got free with a magazine. I've added a punched flower and a little glitter. I'd like to enter this card in the following challenge:

DYSU - use a flower
Lili's Little Fairies - your favourite craft tool (my flower punch)

Finally I've made a card for the medals and monarchs challenge over at Sir Stampalot this month....

I haven't got any olympic or jubliee inspired craft items in my stash......so I decided to go with the colours of the Union Jack....red, white and blue.....these are  colours we're going to see a lot of this summer!! I also decided to add a cup of tea.....after all...what can be more British than a cup of tea??

Pop by all the blogs mentioned to see all the gorgeous DT cards that have been created for us this week!

Feeling a bit like Willy Wonka!

Hey there folks, how are you today?

Well, I have had a lovely weekend...its the first one in ages where I had nothing planned and although I've had a fun month full of adventures I was really pleased to have a weekend to myself! I've spent loads of time crafting and in the kitchen - no surprise there really!!

This month sees Sir Stampalot's 2nd Birthday and to celebrate they are having a fab blog hop...there are loads of prizes up for grabs, pop by their blog to find out more. Their challenge this month is Happy Birthday...and to celebrate I made this Birthday cake card:

I'm not usually very experiemental when it comes to shaped cards, but this weekend I decided to give something new a go. I'm really pleased by how it turned out and I think the card works really well with this sentiment. As well as Sir Stampalot I would also like to enter this card in the following challenges:

Allsorts - photo inspiration - I've picked the colours pink, yellow and brown and the image of a cake

There is also a new challenge over at CES Challenge where they have a "no girls allowed challenge" this week. We all know I'm not a fan of masculine cards, but since I was already out of my comfort zone with the shaped card I thought I'd give this challenge a go too!!

Do the polka dots make it a bit girlie??

Soooo....are you wondering what I got up to in my kitchen this weekend and why I'm feeling a bit like Willy Wonka?? Well, I've been making my own easter eggs! They are surprisingly easy to make and I'm really pleased with what I've made so far...although I think I might go a bit fancy and make some floral decorations for them.....

I've made some large ones....some medium ones....and some teeny tiny ones (which are filled with popping candy!). Of course I've had to sample some of the same ones, just to make sure the popping candy worked and I can tell you that they are yummy!

Anyway, thanks for popping by today,

Weird Weather!

What a day! First off it was REALLY wet and a bit windy....then I had snow...yes actual snowflakes falling from the sky.....then finally some lovely sunshine!! I didn't really know what to do with myself today and with that weird weather going on outside I decided to stay indoors! I've watched a movie, read a magazine, made a red thai chicken and sweet potato curry and done some baking! What a busy, but relaxing day!!

Sooooo....here are some of my new cards....

First off for the pastels challenge over at Passion for Promarkers I have this sweet card.......

As you probably know I love this stamp, its so scrummy! I've used some pastel coloured baking papers, a punched border in the middle and my scrummy cupcake along with the sweet sentiment.

My second card is for the Green for Go challenge over at Secret Crafter Saturday Challenge this week....

The ladies want to see green feature as the main colour in our creations this week....I opted for a some fresh spring inspired backing paper to match the darker green and fresh pink papers. I'd also like to enter this in the Cute Card Thursday Challenge this week which is "signs of spring". I've used a cute jam stamp on this card because I know as spring is around the corner so is my mum's amazing homemade jam! Yummy!

Finally, another month brings a new challenge at Sir Stampalot and this month they'd like us to take inspiration from some new kits they have. There are some gorgeous backing papers, some swirls, pearls and buttons to inspire us!

I took my inspiration from the cute polka dot paper that features in the kit. I love polka dots, they always make a card look cute. I've added a fun sentiment and some stamped cupcakes to finish the card.

Now I also mentioned that I've been baking....well yesterday I made some mini victoria sponge cakes and today I've made a delicious pile of chocododdles (a fab Nigella recipe which is part cake part biscuit and really rather tasty)!! I'm really glad that I have lots of willing volunteers to sample my goodies otherwise I don't think my clothes would fit anymore!!

Thanks for popping by today and I hope you've had a fab weekend!

In the garden....

....well, the snow came last night! It looks pretty out there, but I'm not a huge fan of the snow really....my car is rear-wheel drive and therefore goes mad in the snow and so I can't drive! Plus I worry about twisting my stupid knee and setting off a flare up (I really don't want to end up on crutches again!!). So, with all this white stuff outside whats a girl to do?? Get crafting!!

We're having a valentines themed crafternoon tea next weekend....and as usual I'm really looking forward to getting the girls together for some yummy food and fab crafts! I'm trying to pick the crafts we'll do this time, but I've already decided on my sweet treats!Plus I've been making some decorations for Lorna's flat! Sooooo exciting!

As well as all this planning, I've been making cards and have two I'd like to share with you....

My first card is a bespoke card that someone asked me to make for them.....its pink, shiny and A4 in size......and I had great fun making it! I was given the brief - shoes, bling, pink and silver and that fab sentiment! I'm not sure who its for, but I hope they like it!! I stamped the sentiment with my letter stamps and coloured with my Promarkers. Then I made the shoes out of silver and fab pink sparkly paper. They are 3D and really pop from the card....I added some sequins for extra bling!

I'm entering this card in Allsorts Free & Easy Challenge this week.

I'm really pleased with this second card....its another colour combo that I don't use very often, but I think it looks fab. Fab flowery backing papers, punched flowers, faux stitching and two little bunny rabbits = CUTE!!

I'd like to enter this card in the following challenges:

Secret Crafter Saturday Challenge - Hugs and Kisses (I think they're kissing!!)
Sir Stampalot Challenge - in the garden - I wish my garden looked this lush at the moment!!

Right, I still have lots more crafting time before Joe comes home for work....so I'm off!!

Lots of new!

Evening! Look at me...three cards in three days!

I'm really enjoying having some free time in the evnings again! I loved making all my Christmas pressies.....but it really did take up a lot of time! This evening I've been for a run (yes I've started running again), done some Pippa Middleton pert bottom exercises (yes I want her bum!!) and made this cute card all before 8:30pm!

Isn't he a sweetie?? This card has a couple of new things on it....the cute stamp for a start....and there is some paper piercing on there (as a border on the dark blue paper). I've never paper pierced before...or at least if I have I don't remember it!! I've made this card for several different challenges:

Allsorts - paper piercing
Cupcake Craft Challenge - something new (either the stamp or the paper piercing!!)
Sir Stampalot - monochromatic

Pop by all the blogs mentioned above to see some gorgeous DT cards!

Right, I'm going to make a cuppa now and put my feet up!

Happy Sunday!

Hello everyone!

I hope you're well and have had a lovely weekend....well its only two weeks until Christmas now....are you ready?? I'm still not!

Yesterday was lovely....we had our biggest ever crafternoon tea in honour of my sister's Birthday....as you can see from the photo it was a bit of a squash to get us all in there!! My cake went down very well....in fact this morning there was only one tier left!! After lots of yummy food we all made Christmas crackers....aren't they gorgeous?? The one on top was made from my quietly crafty mum!!

So, today I've done a little Chritmas shopping, I've marzipanned my cake and I've decorated my flat! To reward all my hard work I decided it was time for some card challenges!! After a quick look around blog land I came across three fab challenges that I wanted to enter:

Secret Crafter Saturday Challenge - All Creatures Great & Small
Allsorts - It Takes Two (only two colours!)
Sir Stampalot - Bingo - Buttons, Flowers, Stickles

It looks like I've used green and red in this photo, but in fact this card is blue and pink!! I've used my stickles on my little flower and on the flowers in the image! Pop by all the blogs mentioned above to see all the gorgeous DT cards that have been created.

Don't forget about our "things with wings" challenge over at Sweet Stampin this week!

Blue and Green.....

Evening Folks!

Hope you're all well and had a lovely weekend! I spent yesterday morning with my mum in Farnham, we had a lovely time at the monthly market. Then when mum went home my best friend Becca arrived! What a busy Saturday! Today I've spent my day making Christmas cards....I finally got some festive inspiration from a cute and cuddly friend...

Isn't he cute??

Anyway, after my making first batch of festive cards I decided to pop by Sir Stampalot to see what challenge and they have this month....and I was sooo pleased to see that its a "blue and green" theme. I always love making blue and green cards because they make my mum cross...she's a firm believer in that old saying "blue and green should never be seen".....luckily I'm not!

I've gone back to an old favourite stamp for this card....its so versitile and people always love the cards it features on...really one of the best stamps I have ever bought! I've stamped the image on plain white card and then added sparkle with gems and glitter. I've used plain green and blue backing papers to frame the card and the image, and then I've added some really pretty blue backing paper that features white trees. I think it really matches the image. Finally I added the little circular sentiment.

Don't forget to pop by the Sir Stampalot blog to see all the gorgeous DT cards!

I think its time to bake some cakes now....I'll show you the results tomorrow!

Food Glorious Food!

Evening Folks!

Thanks for popping by today...after a busy day at work I've had a really lovely evening....I had absolutely nothing planned and Joe is seeing some friends tonight...so what did I decide to do...make some cards! Bliss!

This month's challenge over at Stampalot Challenge is "Food Glorious Food"....a subject close to my heart! Anyone whose visited my blog before knows that I love cooking....particularly baking and this is often reflected in my cards. This evening is no different....

I went all girlie for this card...lots of pink and sparkle and a fab cupcake to celebrate someone's Birthday!

I've also been asked to make a card for someone at work recently which also kinda fits in with this theme....and another one of my passions....wine! The Birthday boy in question loves his wine too and so I decided to make him his own bottle of wine....a very fine vintage! I've made my bottle out of paper and added a lable printed with the Birthday boy's name and date of birth. I made a little Happy Birthday tag and tied this around the neck of the bottle.
Well, its only just gone 8pm and I'm thining about bed already! The joys of an evening with no plans! I think a mug of hot chocolate and a good book are calling!

Something a little bit different

Hello campers, hope you're all well today! Well, I've had such a busy weekend that I didn't get the chance to post over the weekend! I'm on annual leave this week, hence my afternoon post! I'm just pottering this week and I'm thoroughly enjoying it!

Today I have something a little bit different for you.....I've taken a look at my last couple of posts and my blog is rather pink and girlie at the moment! So, today I sat at my craft desk and decided to make a blue boys card! Shock Horror!

Tee hee....isn't he a cheeky monkey and perfect for a little boy birthday card? I've coloured my cheeky monkey image with my Promarkers. I've included a number on my card for the "how old?" challenge over at Cupcake Craft Challenge this week and the blue monochrome colour scheme is for the "monochromatic" challenge at Secret Crafter Saturday Challenge this week.

I'd also like to enter this card at the last week of "free and easy" challenge over at Allsorts and the "whatever you fancy" challenge over at Stampalot Challenge this month. For some inspiration for any of these challenges pop by the blogs mentioned above and check out the gorgeous DT cards.

Don't forget our Christmas in July challenge over at Sweet Stampin this week, check out Team Fi's gorgeous DT cards! You've got until Saturday to enter!

Thanks for popping by today, I love reading all your lovely comments.

I'm getting there....

...hi there...thanks for popping by today. Well, I've been in my new flat a little while now and I'm starting to get things organised. Do you remember I told you about my new craft desk? The fab 1950s bureau...well I've started to organise my stash now and its looking fab! I got home from work nice and early this evening, so its just gone 8pm....I'm munching on my dinner....and I've already created a card...thats a good evening so far me thinks!
I've made this card today to send to my Aunty Maggie, she lives down in Bognor and I send her my cards regularly....just to say hi! I know how lovely it is to find "fun" post on the doormat instead of bills..... think more people should send cards "just because".

Doesn't Kasi look pretty in pink??

I'm entering this card in several different challenges, I'm making up for all those challenges I missed out on!
Sweet Sketch Wednesday - another fab sketch by Arlana
StampFairy Challenge - try a new technique - you can't really see it, but I tried a little paper piercing on the little purple strip behind the sentiment
Passion for Promarkers - include some gingham
Simon Says Stamp - anything goes
Sir Stampalot - anything goes

This would also have been a good card for our challenge at Sweet Stampin this week...our theme is cute and cuddly....have you entered yet?? Go on give it a go!

Don't forget to pop by all these fab blogs to see all the wonderful DT cards that have been created this week.

Lovely to see you, hope you pop back again soon!

Fashion, ladies and a great sketch!

Hello there! I hope you're all keeping well.

I'm a tad bit excited as its my Birthday this weekend! Everyone always laughs because I still make a big deal of my Birthday and plan lots of things to do...but hey, its nice to have things to look forward to! This weekend I will be going on another Ghost Bus Tour in London, I will be staying in a fancy hotel, I will be having afternoon tea with the girlies and I will be having a fab party....and I can't wait!

Today I have a very girlie card to share with you...the great layout for this card is this week's fab sketch from Sweet Sketch Wednesday...

Isn't that sketch lovely...I'll be using this one again definitly! Did you know that Arlana has nearly created 100 sketches for Sweet Sketch Wednesday...thats amazing! Check out their blog to see how the DT have used this sketch!

The theme for this card has come from this month's challenge over at Sir Stampalot where the theme is "Ladies and Fashion". Isn't that a fab challenge?? I love this sentiment....I'm not entirely sure I've done it justice here as it doesn't quite fit in! The image is another of those fab Kanban stamps...I love them!! I've been practicing with my Promarkers again, and I've added a little glittle glue to the necklace and the shopping bag!

I've also done a little baking this evening, something I haven't done in a while. I decided to revisit one of my favourite recipes...coffee cake! I think I'll call these coffee and cream cakes, as they are coffee sponge cake topped with vanilla butter icing. I've also added a little sparkle to the cupcakes using edible glitter...it hasn't come out very well in the photo, but the cakes really do sparkle!
Thanks for popping by today, see you soon!

Spring is in the air

What a lovely day it is today....it might be cold out there, but the sun is shining and that always makes me smile! I hope you're having a lovely weekend wherever you are in the world today!

I have a card to share with you which is inspired by colours of spring...blossom pinks, fresh greens and sunny yellows....

I've used a patchwork background, made up of three different papers (two plain and one patterned), on top of that I've added my stamped image. As you all might know I love cupcakes and so its probably not a surprise to see them on my card! I think the stamped image really compliments the cupcake backing paper that I've used.

I've coloured the image using some pastels...something I haven't done before as you can probably tell! It was a bit messy and I think I need a bit more practice!

I'm going to enter this in several challenges:
Secret Challenge Saturday Crafter  - patchwork background
Sir Stampalot Challenge - spring is in the air - colour combo
Papertake Weekly Challenge - anything goes
Cute Card Thursday - signs of spring - I've picked colours

I hope this card makes you smile!

Meow!

Morning All,

Hope you're all well this morning! I thought I'd share a quick card with you before work...pop back later today though because I'll have this week's SSW card too! I missed the Sir Stampalot Challenge last month, so decided I needed to get creating before another month flies by! The theme this month at Sir Stampalot is "All Creatures Great and Small" and the DT have created some gorgeous cards featuring all kinds of animals! Here is mine....

I love this stamp...I've used it so much since buying it! I think the cats are sooo cute! I decided to keep the card quite simple and I haven't added a sentiment because I wanted to be able to use the card for any occassion.

This is paper that I've had in my stash for ages and I've never used it! I found it in my drawer next to the brown card that features on the card,....and I was inspired!

Hope you have a good day....see you later!

All pink and purple!

Hello there, thanks for stopping by today. I hope you're keeping well!

I have two cards for you this evening, for three different challenges. The cards also have something else in common as they both feature embellishments from The Creative Cottage shop.

My first card is for this month's challenge over at Sir Stampalot where the theme is "Travel the world", I've gone for an oriental theme using this lovely lady and fab cherry blossom backing paper from the Creative Cottage. I think the pinks and black work very well together. The layout for this card comes from a blog that I've only just discovered called Sunday Sketch and Stamp. They run fortnightly sketch challenges and the only other required element is a stamped image either tradtional or digital - I've opted for digital on this occassion. The sketch is lovely to work with and I think looks fab with the oriental theme.

My second card features my favourite colour purple and is for this fortnight's challenge over at the Creative Cottage where they have called for untradtional Christmas cards. I came across this lovely digi image when browsing their shop earlier - isn't it fab!

Although gold is a common colour at Christmas time it is usually used with reds and greens...I think it looks fab with purple too! I've used purple backing papers, along with a gold tag that I had in my stash. I attached the tree using 3D sticky pads and then finshed the card off with some lovely glitter glue.

Pop over to all three blogs to see some gorgeous DT cards...don't forget the Creative Cottage Shop too!

Thanks for stopping by, I hope you'll leave a comment to let me know you've visited me today!

A couple of festive cards for you.....

....this evening I will be spending my time making Christmas cards...I already know I need to make rather a lot of little Rudolphs so I need to get my skates on! Before I start though I wanted to share a couple of cards with you.

First off I have my card for this month's Sir Stampalot challenge and for this month's Penny Black at Allsorts Challenge...both have a similar theme....

Can you guess the theme?

Penny Black at Allsorts - its beginning to look a lot like Christmas
Sir Stampalot - Christmas traditions

I thought this fab Penny Black stamp would be brilliant for both challenges....it always makes me laugh....can you just imagine santa bringing all his presents riding on a cow!? I've used bright red and green backing papers, and a super cute Papermania backing paper featuring lots of Christmas pressies.

My second card is for the Allsorts challenge this week, where their theme is gold and cream with a hint of red:

Now, although I didn't use a Christmas sentiment on this card, I think it would be perfect for Christmas or a Birthday or a "just because" card. I love this Kanban stamp and have used it a lot already - it seems to appeal to everyone. I've used a combination of cream and gold backing papers, along with some cream ribbon. I stamped the tree in black ink and then added some gold and red glitter glue. Finally the sentiment is gold.

Right...I actually started writing this post about an hour and a half ago...this proves just how easy it is to distract me! Since I started the post I've eaten dinner, called my boyfriend and made some yummy raspberry cupcakes that are currently in the oven!

I'm off to make my Rudolphs now before I get distracted again....although those cakes will need icing at some point! Thanks for stopping by today and I hope to see you again soon.

Feeling a little autumnal!

Oh my goodness! Have you noticed anything different about my blog? I'm so happy - I've gained a shiny new badge in the side bar! The wonderful ladies at Sweet Sketch Wednesday have awarded me with their top three badge for last week's spooky cupcake card - thank you ladies! Its always a pleasure to use Arlana's fab sketches each week, and I love stopping by all the wonderful DT blogs to see what they've been up to. I've had a rather stressful evening and it was so nice to come home and find this lovely surprise - it made my evening!

Without further ado here is this week's card for the new Sweet Sketch Wednesday challenge:

I've actually turned the sketch on it's side...I hope thats ok! In the original sketch the flower is on the righthand side....take a peek at the SSW blog and see all the gorgeous DT cards.

I'm also entering this card in two other challenges - both monthly challenges with an autumnal theme.

Penny Black at Allsorts called for a project featuring colours of autumn, and of course a penny black image. As you know I love these cute little mice, they feature on a lot of my cards at the moment! I also love all the gorgeous colours at the moment, deep and vibrant - reds, oranges, browns and whats left of the greenery!

The other challenge I'd like to enter this into is the monthly Sir Stampalot challenge. This month the theme is Autumn Breezes, Buttons and a Bow. For the autumn breezes I decided to opt for the colours of autumn, I have hidden my button on my flower and one of my mice is wearing a red bow!

Pop along to both the monthly blogs to see all the fab DT cards for some inspiration.

Right, I'm shattered....well, there is nothing new there! Thanks again to the wonderful SSW ladies, I was so chuffed to see my name on your blog!

Thanks for stopping by today,

Distressed but simple!

Evening All,

Hope you're all well and having a lovely weekend. My Sunday has been wonderful...my sister and her hubbie came over to see me and we went to a local antique warehouse. It's a beautiful place called the Packhouse, and its full of gorgeous antiques and lushious interiors. I bought a fab vintage box handbag and my sister bought gorgeous vinatge champagne glasses. Poor Jim followed us around as we cooed at everything...he said he enjoyed himself, but I'm not too sure!

Anyway, today's card is for two different challenges....over at Secret Crafter we have Clean & Simple - they want to see simple, quick to make cards. Then the September challenge over at Sir Stampalot is "all distressed".

I've used one of my favourite sentiments, along with one of my favourite colours! This card is quick and easy to make - all you need is your sentiment and a selection of papers....the purple rectangles are cut using a guillotine and the cute spotty paper is torn by hand. I hand cut the shoes out of matching purple paper and then stuck it all together - easy peasy!

Check out the two blogs to see all the gorgeous DT cards.

Right, I'm off to make some more cards, I need to add to my MISI shop...I'm feeling quite girlie, so I think there will be cupcakes and shoes! Watch this space!

Thanks for popping by,

A bit of Birthday Bling!

Woo hoo! Look at me...well I know you can't actually look at me, but you can imagine me! I've got my shiny new laptop! Its so fast, its brilliant! I have to say I'm not exactly a techno savy person, but I thought I'd be ok starting the laptop up for the first time on my own.....little did I know they'd hide the on button from me! Ha, ha! However, after that minor delay I was away!

So, I've got a Birthday card for you that I'm entering into two challenges tonight:

This is a very simple card for me, but I like it! All I've used for this card is a white card blank, a stamped sentiment in black ink, some punched pink flowers and some gorgeous shiny gems. This fits in with the following challenges:

Simple yet still girlie I think! I liked using only two colours for this card and I think white and bright pink work really well together - all the white also shows off the bling nicely! Right...I'm off to play with my laptop some more, I've got some fab scrapbook software to experiement with!

Don't forget to take a peek at all the gorgeous DT cards that have been created for these challenges!

Summer Time Flower!

Evening All,

I hope you all had a lovely weekend.....I had a brilliant Saturday...I spent Saturday being a tourist in London with my sister Lorna. We went to an amazing American style diner in London...the one I took Becca to in June...this time I had the pancakes! We then strolled through London to the Girl Guideing shop and then wanted around the Royal Mews. If you ever find yourself in London I'd highly recommend visiting the Royal Mews, which are the palace's working stables. For under £10 you get to see all the royal carriages, a limo and some of the horses. They even provide a free audio tour or guided tour - great value!

Anyway, enough about London and onto my card for today....as you may have guessed by the post title there is going to be a flower here....in fact a rather large one!

This shaker card has been designed for two challenges:

When I saw this week's challenge on Cupcake I knew it had to be a shaker card - I love them and love any excuse to make one! The Sir Stampalot challenge was a lot harder because there are so many things that remind me of summer time. In the end I decided that I do love the summer time because I can be outside so much enjoy my garden or the local parks. Flowers are so beautiful in the summer months!

For this shaker card I made a flower on the computer -  not sure why, but it seemed to work! I used acetate of course, plus a lot of mini 3D sticky pads and some gorgeous yellow seed beeds. These cards really are easy to make and I think look fantastic!

Right, I'm off to a Girl Guide district meeting now!
