Hope you're keeping well today. I'm off drifting with Joe again this weekend....we're off to Lydden Hill race track in a couple of hours for the 4th round of the British Drifting Championships...wish Joe luck!
Anyway....as my post title suggests I think I've already had quick a bit of luck recently. At the end of July I entered the lovely Tracey's candy on her blog...and guess what...I won! Tracey has been extremly generous and I can honestly say that I've never opened such an exciting package before!!

Thank you so much Tracey!
Soooo...I got stuck into my new stash straight away....
I don't usually add a lot of embellishments to my cards, but I always admire how they look on other people's cards. So today I found at Bingo challenge over at Simon Says Stamp and so I thought it would be the perfect opportunity to go a little embellishment mad!
I've used some of the beautitful papers from Tracey's candy, along with that gorgeous image. I've coloured the image with my Promarkers and added a little sparkle to the tiny flowers with my Stickles. I've then added some glittery flowers and some die cut butterflies. I suppose the only thing that I missed was a sentiment....please image it says "Happy Birthday" down in the left hand corner!!
I'd like to enter this card in the following challenges:
Simon Says Stamp - bingo - die cute, free & glitter
Send a Smile 4 Kids - for the girls
DYSY - four legged friend - he's there in the corner!
Digi Doodles - things with wings
Stampalot Challenge - take flight
Pop by all these blogs to see the gorgeous DT cards that have been created.
I'm also feeling rather lucky today because my fab Aunty Chris who lives in Bognor has sent me some baking supplies....and when I say some I mean a lot!!
Those are 3kg bags!! Brilliant!
Thanks Aunty Chris!
Thanks for popping by today,
Wedgie xxx
