Hello there....thanks for popping by today!

I have had one hectic week, but I am pleased to announce that its officially my weekend now! Tomorrow Lorna and I head off for our 1950s weekend.....and I can't wait! I'm desperate for a break and I think this will be perfect!

Anyway, I've had a little time this afternoon to catch up on my DT commenting, visit some of my bloggy friends and make some cards! Its been bliss!!

As my post header might just suggest Christmas is still not far from my mind! I've made my Christmas cake now....just got the fun bit left to do...the decorating! You probably won't remember my cake from last year, but it had a cute little penguin family on....I think I'll use them again this year and I might add some bits.....after all even penguins need a Christmas tree!!

I've coloured my fab DigiStamp Boutique image with my Promarkers and used some lovely autumn coloured papers for the background. I've used my border punch to create the pretty edge on the red paper and punched some snowflakes out of white paper. I've added some glossy accents to the snowflakes on the red paper and some Stickles on the snowflakes in the image! Finally I added my sentiment and some faux white stitches!

 

I really enjoyed putting this card together.

T is for.....

....Tree....a christmas tree!

Morning all....hope you're all well today! A quick post for you this morning, after I left you last night I was very naughty and instead of heading to bed like I wanted to do I started experimenting with some buttons! Here is the result...

I've recently aquired a lot of red buttons and as they seem to be really popular at the moment I wondered how I could use them on a Christmas card. The tree is a triangle of green paper and the base is an old tag that I've cut to size. I used a mixture of red buttons in different shades and sizes.

As well as being a very simple card, this also fits in with two challenges:

ABC Christmas Challenge - T is for Tree
Charisma Cardz - anything goes

Christmas Trees!

Evening All - wow I haven't blogged in ages and I've missed it! I've had a dodgy knee recently, which has kept me away from the computer, my craft desk and several craft fairs!! My knee's not completley healed, but I'm getting there...so I decided it was high time to get crafting and blogging again!

Well, what a great place to start...this week's Secret Crafter's Saturday Challenge is all about projects featuring Christmas Trees......so I decided to put together something a little bit different - with not one, but two cute little trees ready for Christmas......... hope you like it!
