Cocktails and Cupcakes

Hello there! Happy Saturday!

I hope that you've had a fab week!

Welcome back to another challenge from My Time to Craft...this week we'd like to see you feature two different images on one card. I decided to make a card featuring two of my favourite things.....

Every birthday should include cupcakes and cocktails!

My images have been coloured with my Promarkers and I have added a little sparkle with my Stickles. I opted for a zingy green and purple colour combo...I love these colours together, they always make me smile!

It's a Love Thing....

Hello there.....me again!

I'm back again with a new challenge from My Time to Craft...and this week we're getting ready for Valentine's Day. Love it or hate it....the heart filled day is just around the corner and we'd like to see your creations celebrating lurve!

I've used one of my favourite digi images for this card....

Isn't it a cutie? My image has been coloured with my Promarkers and I have added a little sparkle with my Stickles. I love polka dots...I'm not sure why...but they always seem to make a card look even more cute.

Lets get folding!

Hello there,

Happy Saturday....I hope you've had a lovely week.

Mine started really well...we had the brilliant news that Joe has become an uncle for the first time. His sister had a beautiful little girl on Monday afternoon, she was two weeks overdue and so we are all pleased that little Isabelle finally decided to make an appearance!

We have a fab challenge for you at My Time to Craft this week, we want to see your easel cards. Inspired by my wonderful news, I got crafting....

I've gone with a very pink colour scheme for this card....well she is a baby girl after all!

My cute images have been coloured with my Promarkers and I have gone with polka dots and stripes for the backing papers.

Its Time For.....Errr....Christmas!

Hello there,

Happy Wednesday! I hope you're having a fab week.

So...we're back with a brand new challenge over at Christmas at Sweet Stampin and I have to say it was a little weird making a Christmas card again...after Christmas! Ha, ha!

But I did enjoy having my stash of ready made Christmas cards when it came to December 2013 so I won't moan too much about making my first 2014 one already!

Our theme this month is a lovely one...we want to see festive foliage feature on your Christmas cards....and of course there must be an image of some kind on your card too (stamped or digi). I went with a fab digi image from DigiStamp Boutique....

I have gone with a very traditionaly colour combo for this card, using lots of reds and greens. My image has been coloured with my Promarkers and I have added a little Glossy Accents to the berries to make them shine. Finally I added three cute little buttons and a printed sentiment (also from DigiStamp Boutique).

If you are stuck for ideas there are lots of lovely DT cards on the Christmas at Sweet Stampin challenge blog. While you are there you can also find out about our fab sponsor this month

We're all Going on Our Summer Holidays.....

Well...not yet...but its around about this time of the year when I start thinking about them! If you read my post earlier today you'll know that I'm definitly not "bikini ready" yet...what with all the scrummy afternoon teas I've been indulging in recently!

These thoughts of a warmer climate has also inspired my card for this week's challenge over at My Time to Craft. Our challenge this week is "inspired by a song or movie"....I always love these challenges as they allow you to be so creative! I went with Cliff Richard's "Summer Holiday".....

I've used a fab Flat Friends freebie image for this card, which I have coloured with my Promarkers.

For my background I have used a mixture of plain blue paper and holiday themed papers from Do Crafts. I love how bright and colourful this card has turned out.

A little motivation for the new year.....

Well hello there!

Happy New Year! I hope you had a fantastic Christmas and you're all set for the new year. I've got the feeling that 2014 is going to be a tea-riffic year!

So, if you've seen my afternoon tea blog recently you'll know that we ate a lot of scrummy afternoon teas last year. Its tough...but someones got to do it! With lots more teas planned for this year I definitely need to up my exercise levels (which won't be hard as those levels are currently set at zero!!).

The festive afternoon tea we enjoyed!
Luckily we have a fab new year challenge to get me motivated over at Sweet Stampin....this week we'd like to see your projects inspired by sports or fitness! What a great theme for me!

I've had this cute little image for some time now, so I decided it was time to put it to good use.....

Hee, hee....I'm really not sure whether you should use the word "sweat" on a Birthday card!

I've coloured my image with my Promarkers and have created my sentiment on my laptop. I've gone with a blue/purple colour combo which I always looks fab together.
