Getting ready for Halloween!

Hello crafters...hope you're having a good weekend!

I've had a fab day....I got my sewing machine out for the first time in ages. Lorna and I are hosting a Halloween themed afternoon tea next weekend for the girlies and I wanted to get some things ready. I've made bunting for the first time, it was fun picking the materials from my stash and putting them together. Here's what I've got so far....

I'm thinking of adding some little ghosts to the triangles....what do you think??

There are plenty of Halloween challenges out there at the moment....we've got one over at Sweet Stampin this week. But I've decided to make a non-stamped Halloween card for the challenge at Allsorts. I love my stamps...but I use them ALL THE TIME and sometimes I just want to make something out of paper! So, inspired by the HUGE spider that chased me around the living room earlier, here is my Halloween card....

Hee, hee...you can't beat some googly eyes!! More cute than scary, but hey its still a Halloween card! Now just don't ask me what happened to the spider in my flat...he was one those ones with really long legs and he didn't look as friendly as the one on my card!

Pop by the Allsorts blog to see all the spooky cards the DT made this week....and don't forget about our Halloween challenge over at Sweet Stampin!

While I'm talking about my fab teamies at Sweet Stampin I should mention the fab candy that Cathy's got on offer....pop by her blog and take a peek before its too late!!

Thanks for popping by today,
Wedgie xxx

  4. I love the bunting & think some little ghosties would finish it off perfectly! The spider on your card is adorable, I suspect the one in your living room was less so....you can keep that one!! xx
