Long time no see I hear you cry....yes, I have been missing from my blog and not posting as regularly as I'd like. I'm not entirely sure whats happening with time at the moment, my evenings seem fly by! Next thing you know I'll be wishing you all a very Merry Christmas! Anyway, I decided to dedicate this evening to some good old fashioned crafting!
First off here is a project I've been working on for this week's challenge over at Cupcake Craft Challenge....their challenge this week is really different and something that I've really enjoyed.....it's an "alter it" challenge! So, I decided to take this boring plum container.....
and turn it into this pretty stickles container!
I covered the ugly plastic container with pretty paper scraps from my paper stash, along with a cute image and som paper flowers. A vast improvement on the original container! Check out the Cupcake blog for some more fab altered projects.
I also decided to make a card.....I opted for the "back to school" theme over at Allsorts for this card, as I found the perfect image in my stash...
Don't forget to pop by both blogs to see all the gorgeous DT cards.
This card would also be perfect for our colour combo challenge over at Sweet Stampin this week....we want to see your cards featuring chocolate, pink and cream. Pop over to our blog to see Team Fi's gorgeous creations.
Thanks for popping by today, its great to read all your encouraging comments. I hope to see you again soon.
