Ohhh...I'm so lucky!

Hello there! What a miserable, grey day in Surrey today!

I came home yesterday to a very exciting package from Faye, it was my prize stash from her quiz at the begining of the month. Faye really spoilt me with some fab stash....

I want to say a HUGE thank you to Faye, this is very generous of you and I'm going to have lots of fun crafting!

I've had a lovely day today...I had a physio session booked, I needed to have my bloods taken for some routine tests and I had a dentist and hygenist appointment....so I decided to take an annual leave day. I managed to get all the boring stuff done this morning, which meant I had a lovely afternoon pottering, washing my car (my goodness it was dirty!), baking and crafting! Bliss!

It's also a lovely day beacause it's a Wednesday and that means a new sketch to play with from Sweet Sketch Wednesday...

This is a fab sketch...I'm not normally keen on circles on cards because I haven't cut any dies to cut them out and so they always end up wonky! However, today I decided to make the centre of the card on my computer...thus I have straight circles...if that makes any sense! The cute image is one of the ones I won from the Secret Crafter Saturday Challenge blog last month, its from Stitchy Bear Stamps.

Right, its gone 5pm...I'd better start getting ready for Brownies and Guides, its our first week back since Christmas so I'm sure the girls will have lots of gossip to share!!

Thanks for stopping by today,
Wedgie xxx

  5. Hi Wedgie, love your card, great image and love your colours. If you don't have a circle cutter I think you've done really well mine would have been really wonkey. When I bought my cuttlebug I thought I wouldn't use it very much but now I have purchased Spellbinders nestabilities I haven't looked back and use it all the time. I haven't bought it all at once just a little bit here and there and everywhere LOL. Have a lovely weekend and I do hope all is well with your tests.
Thanks so much for joining us at Sweet Sketch Wednesday and good luck.

  7. Wow, Wedgie, congrats on all the winnings this past month. I need to enter into more contests than I do...I just don't seem to have the time. I have problems with circles too. They actually, drive me a little crazy. I can make the perfect circle until I get to the end of cutting it and then mess it up. I have two different circle cutters. I really don't like either one of them. I finally got two of the great big circle punches. One is from Marvy and the other is from Paper Shapers. I love them...and the circles are actually round.
Your card time week is darling. I adore that image. Great job this week on the sketch! Have fun at Brownies!

  11. Congrats on your loot pack - looks like lots of fun stuff! You have been on a winning streak lately! I agree with circle, I never used to play circle sketch until I joined SSW. Then I had no choice and had to go out of my comfort zone (and also buy circle dies LOL). Love your card - it is totally cute and I just love the colors! Thanks so much for playing at Sweet Sketch Wednesday.
