Nearly time for tea!

Hello there!

Its Friday - woo hoo! And the sun is shining - double woo hoo!!

Well its nearly time for my Blooming Tea Party for Marie Curie and I think we've covered everything...just got to set up tomorrow and wait for the guests to arrive! Here are some of the cakes that I've made...I am soooo pleased with how they've turned out!

To keep me relaxed I've made a couple of cards this evening...the first one reminds me of my kitchen antics getting ready for the tea party.....




I've had this stamp for ages, but I've never used it because its rather large! It is very cute though and it seemed to fit my week really well! I've coloured it with my Promarkers and added a little sparkle to my baking faries with my Stickles. I've used some cute retro can backing paper and some plain blue for the background.

I'd like to enter this card in the following challenges:

Cute Card Thursday - fairy
DYSU - food (it had to be a cupcake really didn't it??)

My second card shows what I'd like to be doing on Saturday night after the tea party.....


Again, I've had this stamp for ages and I love it....its just soooo cute!! I've used plain blue backing papers, along with some blue and white patterned papers. I've coloured my image with my Promarkers and added lots of sparkle to my bubbles with my stickles.

    Hi Wedgie, what scrummy cakes - they look delicious. Bet there won't be any left at the end of your tea party.

    Fab cards as well, love the image and papers on the first one and the second one looks like something I would like to be doing too!!!

    Fab cards Wedgie, I love those images, they're darling! Love the sparkles on them too :) Your cupcakes look yummy, especially the strawberry ones, om nom nom :D
