Lorna and I had a wonderful experience on Saturday...we took our crafternoon tea one the road - teacups and all! We put on a tea party for one of my work colleagues and her friends. They ate lots of cakes, made candles and made a greetings card featuring some cute cupcakes. All the ladies had a fab time....and so did we! I loved sharing my crafting knowledge with new people!
Anyway, enough of that business.....where are my cards for today??
Well first off I have a cake themed Birthday card....
I've used pastel shades for this card, along with a cupcake stamp and a number stamp that I've had for ages and never used!! Not sure why....I really like it! I've made a cute little tag out of coloured card, added my cupcake image and fixed it all on the card with some 3D sticky pads.
I'd like to enter this card in the following challenges:
Secret Crafter Saturday Challenge - pastel colours
Cupcake Craft Challenge - number crunchy (feature some numbers!)
Simon Says Stamp - tag or ATC
And next I have something that does make me shudder a little....yes its a Christmas card!! Well I suppose its less than six months until Christmas now!!
I've gone a little bit unusual with this |Christmas card....instead of completly traditional colours I've opted for some red, white and blue...along with a cute LOTV image and some homemade holly! I've coloured my image with my Promarkers and added a little sparkle with my Stickles!
I'd like to enter this card in the following challenges:
Allsorts - red, white & blue
Crazy 4 Challenges - show us your colours - use your countries colours
The Pink Elephant - Christmas in July
Lili's Little Fairies - anything goes
Send a Smile 4 Kids - Christmas
Pop by all the blogs mentioned to see some gorgeous DT cards - great inspiration!
