Happy Wednesday!

Hello Folks, hope you're keeping well today.

I have a little card for you today...


I still find it very hard to make cards for Dads. My Dad passed away last year and although I'm ok, its still a raw subject for me. In fact Fathers Day last year passed by just fine.....but this year all the adverts on TV are making me a little sad. Its funny how the mind works isn't it?!

Anyway, this red, white and blue extravaganza is for the following challenges:

Passion for Promarkers - colour theme - red, white & blue
Sweet Stamps - for Dad
Digi Doodle - get your bunting out (sorry no Digi Doodle image this week!)
Papertake Weekly - Anything goes - optional extra - for a man or boy
Oldie but a Goodie - anything goes - my item that is more than 6 months old is the stamp....I've had this for at least a year (probably longer!) and I pull it out of the drawer every so often as he makes me smile!

    I wish I could say something comforting about your dad, but truth is, I don't think we ever get over the loss of a loved one. We just learn how to live with it...

    I think this card is fab, love how you've used the colours together and gingham just rocks. xx

    I lost my dad 12yrs ago, and I still miss him so much... not sure that'll ever change really! Father's Day often fell on his birthday too, so it was really hard the first few years. Big hugs, Lisa x
