Hope you're all well and had a lovely weekend! I spent yesterday morning with my mum in Farnham, we had a lovely time at the monthly market. Then when mum went home my best friend Becca arrived! What a busy Saturday! Today I've spent my day making Christmas cards....I finally got some festive inspiration from a cute and cuddly friend...Isn't he cute??
Anyway, after my making first batch of festive cards I decided to pop by Sir Stampalot to see what challenge and they have this month....and I was sooo pleased to see that its a "blue and green" theme. I always love making blue and green cards because they make my mum cross...she's a firm believer in that old saying "blue and green should never be seen".....luckily I'm not!
I've gone back to an old favourite stamp for this card....its so versitile and people always love the cards it features on...really one of the best stamps I have ever bought! I've stamped the image on plain white card and then added sparkle with gems and glitter. I've used plain green and blue backing papers to frame the card and the image, and then I've added some really pretty blue backing paper that features white trees. I think it really matches the image. Finally I added the little circular sentiment.
Don't forget to pop by the Sir Stampalot blog to see all the gorgeous DT cards!
I think its time to bake some cakes now....I'll show you the results tomorrow!
Thanks for popping by today,
Wedgie xxx

had just popped to Sir Stampalot for my feline duties & saw you there! As predicted I love the card! I remember that saying well from my childhood lol but fortunately I haven't carried it through either, I LOVE blue & green together especially Lime green which goes with several shades of blue, anyhow, I digress! Another gorgeous card, now I must return to my duties. Look forward to seeing the cakes xx

Hi ya, what an elegant card. That image is gorgeous and love the sparkles you've added. Not heard the saying myself, and I wouldn't have stuck to it either - it's a great colour combo! Sarah
